Lost in the hype of the Big Ten Tournament and the speculation of Bill Carmody’s job status, seniors Reggie Hearn and Alex Marcotullio donned Northwestern purple one last time Thursday. Emotions ran high for two players who have seen the program change tremendously over the past four years.
NU saw its season come to a close on Thursday night at the United Center. Despite an inspired late run, the Wildcats lost to Iowa 73-59. Seniors Alex Marcotullio and Reggie Hearn closed their careers in memorable fashion, as each put forth a strong performance.

Reggie Hearn was reeling as he entered Saturday's contest. It all turned around for the senior forward. Hearn recorded a career-high 26 points and led the Wildcats to a victory.
