Rod Smith Is Clairvoyant (And A Big Homer)
Former Denver Broncos wide receiver Rod Smith is currently an analyst on the NFL Network, and before the season, he made a very bold prediction. I don't think a single planet predicted the Broncos to go 5-0 to start the season, but that's exactly what Rod did.Now I know that was the homer pick of all homer picks, but still you have to give him some credit. In fact with...

Rod Smith’s new job: Helping his college town of Joplin
Former Denver Broncos wide receiver Rod Smith may have been born in Texarkana, Arkansas, but it's pretty clear that his heart belongs to Joplin, Mo., where he went to college at Missouri Southern State. Smith was a small-school standout who had to fight for a roster spot in the NFL and finished his estimable pro career as the only undrafted receiver in NFL history to catch...

For Broncos castoffs Hillis and Smith, a change of scenery works
Just outside the Broncos' locker room, next to the mailboxes piled high with best wishes and the hopes for an autograph, is a rather ordinary-looking staircase. But in all the years Rod Smith played for the Broncos, he never wanted to set foot on those steps.
