WILLIAMS ON THE OUTS IN DALLAS?

As rumors still circulate regarding the Cowboys' potential interest in Lions receiver Roy Williams, there's a chance that, if they land him via trade, they won't need to add his middle initial to the back of his jersey. The other Roy Williams, the one who plays safety for the Cowboys, could be on   more...

GCobb.com: Eagles Closing in on Roy Williams

Here we go again. Just when we thought all the talk of the Eagles getting a top flight receiver was dead, GCobb.com has started things up again. Cobb is reporting that Mike Quick, an analyst for Eagles games, believes that there will be news on a new team for Lions receiver Roy Williams by the end   more...

Lito Sheppard is still an Eagle

Everybody wrote him off. He was supposed to be gone. Did the eagles do the smart thing? Lito is a pro bowl player, much more valuable than a 2nd to 3rd round pick. So are the eagles gonna have the best cornerback tandem in the nfl or do they have something up their sleeve. They can keep sheppard, i   more...

It's a Bloggy Blog World

Racist, womanizing fraud Howard Eskin manages to call former Eagle (and reliable insider) Gary "G." Cobb a liar and mentions a variation of the word "blog" 72 times in a single 2-minute rant about the dangers and shortcomings of blogging, blogs & bloggers.

Latest on the Roy Williams-Reggie Brown trade rumor

I thought this was another crazy rumor when I first heard it, but it may turn out to be true. The Lions do have a pretty good reason to make this deal. Here's why.

Iggle Corner - Trading for that #1 WR - 3/4/08

Well the Philadelphia Eagles dove into Free Agency head first by acquiring the biggest defensive name out there in defensive back Asante Samuel, which was a huge shock to a lot of us Eagle fans. Because normally the birds like to keep it low key during the first few waves of free agency. They then   more...

Wide Dreams: Trading For Veteran Receiver Not So Silly

IRVING, Texas - OK, my turn. My turn to be a little dreamy with these off-season moves, to act as if I'm in some Fantasy League instead of the NFL's real, salary-cap limited world. Come on, you got to allow me to let what little hair I have left down once every couple of years, to not always be so   more...

Andy: Just Do It! By Jack Willard 4-9-08

I can't take the debate in the newspapers and talk radio any more! No, the Eagles cannot compete with the rest of their division without another playmaker on offense, specifically a receiver. Sure, they'll tell us they made a bid for Randy Moss, arguably the best wide receiver in the game. But   more...

The Moustache and McNabb

PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Save all the rumor-mongering about Donovan McNabb. It's not as though the Eagles categorically wouldn't trade him. But the chances of some team blowing Philadelphia away with an offer for a 31-year-old quarterback who has missed at least two games due to injury in four of his   more...

Should the Eagles keep Lito?

I want a #1 receiver, badly, but if we cant get either Boldin, Chad, Housh, or roy, we might as well keep Lito than trade him for a second round pick or anything, Lito is just as good as Samuel, and if we have both, we will have the best cornerback tandem in the league.

Cowboys, Falcons and Lions HUGE TRADE!

Rumor is that there is a huge deal in the works that would give Dallas some big name players. But the only way it works out is if Matt Ryan is selected before the #3 spot. If Ryan is still there we are told that the deal will not go through. But word is that Miami will take Ryan with the #1   more...

When will the eagles get McNabb some real recievers

Ever since Donovan has been with the eagles they have never gave him a real reciever besides T.O. but terrel screwed stuff up. The eagles might want to think about getting a guy like Chad Johnson or Roy Williams. They need a guy that can be a play maker and completely change the game.

The time is now!!!

The Eagles got a whole lot better after the signings of Asante Samuel and Chris Clemons. They now have a definate top 10 defense. This is great, but the Eagles still need a #1 wide reciever. It's time to get one. WR, Randy Moss is still a free agent. If I were the Eagles I'd at least try to get   more...
