Royce Ring Exercises Out Clause With Mariners
Reliever Royce Ring has exercised his out clause with the Mariners and is now a free agent, MLBTR has learned. Ring, 30, signed a minor league deal with the M's in December of 2010.

Royce Ring, Matt Tuiasosopo among latest cuts
This rates as somewhat of a surprise, since the Mariners had been looking to take Royce Ring with them as a second left-hander to start the season. But Ring was among the latest cuts today as the Mariners re-assigned him to minor league camp along with Justin Miller and Denny Bautista.
Not much of a surprise? Matt Tuiasosopo gets optioned to Class AAA.
