Rangers 6, New Jersey 3

The New York Rangers defeated the New Jersey Devils on Monday night by the score of 6-3. For a box score, click here. Let me say first it feels good to do these again. Football season has been a nightmare up to this point (Giants fan) and thankfully these preseason games aren’t the arduous torture tests the other leagues have. Third annual New York Rangers top 25 under 25 (Part Two)

Last week, I went through the bottom half of the third annual Top 25 Under 25 for the New York Rangers. The bottom half of the list is fairly interesting, because it had some players fall off the list completely, and players like Ryan Bourque, Cristival “Boo” Nieves, and Steven Fogarty fall significantly. This has […]

Rangers Expected To Remain Quiet On UFA Day

Today’s contracts, tomorrow’s buyouts. Another July 1st is at hand today and in one hour from now, teams that have been talking to free agents over the last week will be allowed to put ink to the dotted line. The Rangers as we know aren’t in much of a position to go shopping on the open market as a number of their RFA’s still have to be taken care of. There remains a lingering...

Open Thread 4/10: Four Thoughts

1) First off, there won’t be a recap of last night’s game, but I’ll go over just a couple things from last night’s loss. I’m not 100% sure whether keeping Henrik Lundqvist in the game last night after Mika Zibanejad fell on his leg in the first period was the correct move. Of course Henrik is going to say he’s OK, because well, he did and said the same things after he...
