Santino Marella announced on Twitter that he will be opening a MMA/wrestling school in Toronto on July 1st, called “Battle Arts Academy”.
“Ladies & Gentlemen, it is my great pleasure to announce the construction of Battle Arts Academy! Stay tuned.. ”

Before Santino Marella was called up to the main roster, he utilized a mixed martial arts gimmick in developmental. Well, it turns out that the former WWE Intercontinental Champion still dabbles in MMA. Marella revealed on Twitter that he is now in his second week of doing judo training. He's sore from it, but he's quite happy as well.
