Bucks' coaching change helped Ilyasova settle in

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. -- Playing scared, with one eye constantly on the coach wondering if that last miss would be a ticket to the bench is no way to play basketball at a high level. Ersan Ilyasova learned that the hard way at the beginning of last season. It's no secret the Turkish forward didn't see eye-to-eye with former Bucks coach Scott Skiles, as Ilyasova just didn'...

Bucks far from satisfied with way their season ended

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. -- As the Milwaukee Bucks slowly but steadily arrived at the Cousins Center on Monday for exit interviews with general manager John Hammond, the mood was certainly not one of a team that had just accomplished one of its major goals for the 2012-13 season. Sure, the Bucks made the playoffs, an experience that can only benefit players down the road, but the feeling...

Boylan takes over for Skiles in Milwaukee: Ilyasova back in starting lineup

In a somewhat-surprising move, the Milwaukee Bucks and head coach Scott Skiles decided to “part ways” late Monday night. While Skiles and GM John Hammond both denied a Yahoo! report alleging that the coach of four-plus years “hated his team,” clearly some tension had been building between the two sides for quite some time. It was widely assumed that the starting backcourt...
