Put them in Canton!
With the recent election of Cortez Kennedy (greatest ‘Hawks name ever) to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the long neglected Seattle franchise earned some long awaited recognition for the quality of players who have served with the Seahawks franchise.

Top 10 Defensive Super Bowl Performances
Defense wins Championships. That has been instilled in sports fans’ heads since the beginning of time. If the other team doesn’t score, they cannot win, plain and simple. Super Bowl XLVI has the New York Giants defense that has been playing lights out, and the New England Patriots defense, which is very close to nonexistent. Which defense over the past 45 years has proven to...

Moments In Time: Seattle Seahawks vs. Cardinals 2002
Seattle Seahawks nostalgia in this weeks Moments In Time. In 2002, the 4the Seahawks traveled to Arizona to take on the Cardinals in the 2002 NFL season. Seattle avenged their previous loss in the season to Arizona over a dominant first half performance from Shaun Alexander and Matt Hasselbeck good enough to last through the rest of the game.

Seahawks Top 10 Regular Season Finales
The Seahawks go into Glendale on New Year's Day striving to level their record at 8-8, which would provide the team (and us Twelves) a pleasant conclusion to a hope-building season. In our franchise history, Seattle is a maddeningly inconclusive/mediocre 18-17 in regular season finales. Here's the Top 10 wins that either sent us into the offseason on a rousing high note, or in some...

Moments in Time: Seattle Seahawks vs. Bears 2007 Playoffs
Seattle Seahawks nostalgia in this weeks Moments In Time. In 2007, the Seattle Seahawks headed to Soldier Field in Chicago to take on the Bears in the divisional round of the 2007 NFL Playoffs. The game was back and forth as Shaun Alexander rushed for 2 touchdowns and Nate Burleson caught one, but Bears kicker Robbie Gould had the ultimate say in the game.

Marshawn Lynch Ties Shaun Alexander’s Record In 30-13 Win
SEATTLE (WA)– When John Schneider traded a fourth round pick to Buffalo in exchange for Marshawn Lynch back in October 2010 he made a worthwhile investment. Granted the last 17 games Lynch played (13 games in 2009 and 4 in 2010) in Buffalo were less than impressive Schneider took the low risk move.
Now in 2011 Lynch is 146 yards away from his first 1,000 yard season in Seattle...

Tim Tebow, Broncos Can Be Stopped
Turn on the radio, news, sports talk, almost everywhere Tim Tebow is taking over. As the NFL continues to struggle to find a way to stop Tim Tebow from winning a simple way to stop him does exist.
How? It's almost impossible for someone to complete only two passes and still win, but Tebow continues to prove doubters wrong and finds a way to win.
While it may not be...

Moments in Time: Seattle Seahawks vs. Eagles MNF 2005
Seattle Seahawks nostalgia in this weeks Moments In Time. In 2005, the Seahawks faced off with the Philadelphia Eagles in an unforgettable Monday Night performance...by the Seahawks. The Seahawks dominated as Shaun Alexander scored twice and the Seattle defense, led by Marcus Tubbs, Michael Boulware, Lofa Tatupu and Andre Dyson, made life miserable for the Eagles.

Top 5 (OK, the only 5): Seahawks Beat Eagles!
The Seahawks must beat Philadelphia Thursday night to keep their slim playoff hopes alive, so I thought this would be a good time to look back at Seattle's previous five victories over the Eagles. Maxwell Finalists Performances Week 13
Andrew Luck- Luck faced a tough Notre Dame defense led by star linebacker Manti Te’o. But in no way did that stop Luck from completing 20 out of his 30 passes for 233 yards and 4 touchdowns. Those touchdowns broke John Elway’s career passing touchdown record of 77, along with Luck’s old single-season record of 32 TD’s set last year. On top of that he also became the All...

Every once in a while, I'll reach back into the archives of my personal blog (which existed from 2002-2009 and more or less got killed by facebook, twitter and this blog) for classic posts about our Seahawks. Peyton Hillis has re-injured his hamstring in practice and is likely out of the game this weekend against Houston. Hillis has been involved in contract trouble, missed a game

Yup. I'm Still Pissed.
It's pretty irrational for me to still be personally angry at Charlie Whitehurst over his performance on Sunday- But then again, it's pretty irrational to be so emotionally invested in what a fairly random collection of handsomely paid athletes do on a weekly basis thousands of miles away... So off we go again.I can't shake a deep feeling of disdain and disgust towards Charlie Whitehurst...

GlenOak Not Dunn
I was fortunate enough to see the GlenOak Golden Eagles twice in the past few weeks.
