Livingston rises above horrific injury
In his first 2 1/2 seasons with the Clippers, Shaun Livingston was a solid player. He was developing. But in February 2007, he went up for a routine left-side layup. What happened next became one of the more gruesome sports injuries ever caught on film - and replayed on YouTube hundreds of thousands of times.

Shaun Livingston is playing decent ball off the bench for the Charlotte Bobcats
25-year old point guard Shaun Livingston thought he was signing a deal during the summer to become the starting point guard of the Bobcats. But to this point in the year he has been backing up D.J. Augustin. Instead of moping due to his new role, Livingston is playing solid basketball. Livingston has played in 17 games (0 starts) so far this year for the Bobcats and he is...

DUNK OF THE NIGHT: Shaun Livingston lives! - Tuesday: January 4, 2011
For any other NBA player this dunk wouldn't warrant much attention. Let alone a coveted spot of Dunk of the Night. But in the case of Shaun Livingston, seeing him walk normal, let alone on an NBA court is incredible. If you somehow forgot Shaun was a highly touted recruit out of Illinois who committed to Duke University, but instead opted for the NBA draft. The Los Angeles...

It took 74 Charlotte Bobcats games for backup point guard Shaun Livingston to miss a game this season. That speaks to Livingston’s exceptional professionalism. Remember back to the preseason, when Livingston’s knee injury was causing him to miss entire weeks?...

Poster of the Day 2/27/11: Shaun Livingston on Ryan Anderson
It truly makes me happy every time I see Shaun Livingston make an athletic play like this…
As I’m sure most of you are aware, Shaun went through one of the most gruesome knee injuries ever to be seen on a basketball court. It was thought that he may never play basketball again, let alone dunk on NBA caliber competition. Not only does Shaun get up for a guy who’...

Shaun Livingston inks 2-year deal with Bobcats
Well, the title of the post tells you almost everything you need to know. Shaun Livingston, who spent the second half of last season with the Wizards resurrecting his career, signed a 2-year deal to play point guard for Michael Jordan’s Charlotte Bobcats. Good for him. I hope he stays healthy and continues to rebuild his career.

The Charlotte Bobcats will have a new starting point guard in 2010-11
The Bobcats will likely have a training camp battle between 25-year old Shaun Livingston and 22-year old D.J. Augustin to determine who will start at point guard in 2010-11. The early favorite appears to be Shaun Lvingston because of his salary. Livingston played in 36 games (18 starts) for the Thunder & Wizards last season and he averaged 22.1 minutes, 6.9 points, 2.2 rebounds...

Could Greg Oden be the next Shaun Livingston?
Time has been neither sweet nor sensitive to Greg Oden. It seems fairly apathetic towards Brandon Roy. That excitement in the city of Portland, that Team Of The Future, Team Of The 2010s – that seems to be just another narrative gone wrong. We’ve held onto it, as we usually do, but as microfractures pile over patellas which pile over meniscuses, even the strongest of grasps let...

The fact that Shaun Livingston is back on the court and playing in NBA games is in and of itself a miracle. Livingston will compete for Charlotte’s starting job. It’s possible, as Livingston showed his prowess with the Wizards last April, averaging 15.5 points and 6.3 assists in that month. Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer: “The Charlotte Bobcats are close to acquiring Shaun Livingston to help address their hole at point guard, an informed source told the Observer Wednesday.”
