Unusual suspects stepping up for hobbled Trojans

USC is 7-3 on the season, but as far as interim head coach Ed Orgeron is concerned, Saturday's visit from Stanford will mark game No. 6 of the Trojans' "new season." The previous five games have been nothing like the first five games to start the 2013 season. Just take a look at the Trojans' 62-28 win at Cal, for example. USC was without two of its top front...

Lane Kiffin cost USC the game, not Max Wittek

Lane Kiffin’s play calling at the end of the USC vs Notre Dame game was absolutely atrocious. USC was down by one score with 5:58 left in the 4th quarter and a shot to beat the number 1 Irish. Kiffin started the drive with a great pass from first start freshman Max Wittek to Marqise Lee for 53 yards to the Notre Dame 2 yardline, that’s right, THE TWO. USC then committed a false...

"It's great. If you can have a fullback that can block and be big but also can run, you have the potential to give some people some issues." The speed Kiffin...
