Some of these players were expected to have Pro Bowl-worthy seasons; some were predicted to have breakout years; and some just didn't step up when their teams needed them most.
Whatever the expectations were, they were all left unfulfilled. And now this group of underperformers will forever have to live with the stigma of making my list of the ten most disappointing players of 2011...

Thomas Jones VS Jamaal Charles
I think Charles is clearly the better back, but Jones was the #1 back on the Chiefs depth chart. This is clearly the best 1 2 running back tandem in the NFL. Regardless of who gets a majority of carries both backs should see lots of touches this season for the Kansas City Chiefs.
