Tim Williams reported today that RHP Tim Alderson was promoted from AA-Altoona to AAA-Indianapolis. Everyone knows Alderson as the highly regarded pitching prospect who was acquired in the Freddy Sanchez trade in 2009. At the time of the trade, Alderson was ranked as the #45 prospect in all of baseball.
