Ex-MLB outfielder Pena signs with Softbank Hawks
Former Major League Baseball outfielder Wily Mo Pena has signed a two-year contract with the Japan Series champion Softbank Hawks.
Pena, from the Dominican Republic, played for the Seattle Mariners this year then became a free agent at the end of the season.
Softbank announced the signing on its website on Friday.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have promoted Pacific Coast League home run leader Wily Mo Pena from Triple-A.
