Could Maclin's move to Curtis' spot be permanent?

Jeremy Maclin opened eyes last week with his six catch, 142-yard, two-touchdown performance against Tampa Bay. And it wouldn't be surprising if two of the eyes he opened belonged to teammate Kevin Curtis. Maclin, a rookie out of Missouri, took...

Updated and (slightly) expanded rookie rankings

Now that both of the rookie drafts in my dynasty leagues are underway, I thought it would be a good time to rehash those early rookie rankings posted after the conclusion of the NFL Draft.
A few things have changed since then. First, most of the post-draft hype has worn off. A guy like Jeremy Maclin, [...]Thank you for reading the latest post from The Hazean. Please visit our website for more great fantasy content!

The 6-foot, 198-pound Jeremy Maclin showed tremendous speed at the post-draft mini-camp. You might argue that it was without pads, which was true,...

More Post-Draft Love for the Eagles

The consensus seems to be the Eagles had themselves an excellent draft weekend. Since everyone is spreading the love across the Interwebs, I decided to be unoriginal and do the same.
The fellas at Pro Football Weekly gushed over the selection of Jeremy Maclin.
Fox Sports tossed the Birds’ brain trust an A grade.

Maclin’s wait ends, finds a home in Philly

After yet another trade by the Cleveland Browns - this time swapping with the Philadelphia Eagles - Jeremy Maclin has fianlly heard his name called by Roger Goodell.
The Eagles, in a bit of a head scratcher, selected the Missouri receiver with the 19th pick of round one. One has to wonder: What does Maclin give [...]

Eagles Draft Jeremy Maclin

WOW!! I can’t believe they did it. The Eagles drafted a wide receiver in the FIRST ROUND!! Never saw this coming. I didn’t think Jeremy Maclin would drop all the way the the 19th pick. Birds traded up with the Browns and all they gave up was a 6th round pick. Great deal to add [...]

AADQ: Best Receiver In The 2009 NFL Draft Class?

As you all know, I think Michael Crabtree is far and away the best receiver in this draft class. But not everyone agrees with me. My old man, Mizzou homer that he is, thinks Jeremy Maclin will be better. Brian over at Phin Phanatic likes Kenny Britt. I know Double ...

Jets got a need for speed!!!

With the draft pending the Jets have a major need for speed. While I think the Jets will grab Josh Freeman in the first round, I’ve said since day one I think they should go after Percy Harvin. The Jets have 6 picks in the upcoming draft and while I love Freeman’s upside we do have 3 QB’s in house. If the Jets like Freeman though, I wouldn’t be hurt. One of our current arms would be on the block. There are a lot of teams in need of a QB and we have some nice young ones...

NFL Draft Preview: Are the Browns Tipping Their Hand with Jeremy Maclin?

The screen grab comes from the Browns official web site. Well, at least it did before being removed.
Scouting Report — Jeremy Maclin

Jeremy Maclin,
6-1 | 200 lbs. | Sophomore
Kirkwood,
Strengths: Jeremy Maclin is arguably the most explosive player in the 2009 draft class. In addition, Maclin has incendiary (possibily explosive) speed as a kick and punt returner. He could impact teams similar to the way ...
