That food left me concussed T…
NFL legend Eric Dickerson is spotted leaving BOA Steakhouse after enjoying dinner in West Hollywood last night. During his NFL career, he rushed for over 13,000 yards….he was basically one of the original Fantasy Studs…Also a member of the 2000 rushing yards club, which is not something to sneeze at. Who could forget the rec specs on that dude.-TO

Sweet, Sweet Dallas Despair – KSK Kontent Klearinghouse

After last night, it dawned on some Cowboys fans that the “glory hole” days are not, in fact, back and that the ‘Boys are just as maddeningly inconsistent as they’ve always been, revamped secondary or not. Dallas fan John Shango loosed an apoplectic YouTube rant on the world late last night after the game. It is worth all six and a half minutes of your time.
Someone pointed out that the Cowboys loss makes the team an even 122-122 since the beginning of the 1997 season. To be perfectly honest, I’m surprised their record is even that good. Of course, since the team is 2-2 this year, they had also had a .500 record over that span going into the season, so it’s possible Dallas really just wants to not stray from the mean.

Since ’97, my Cowboys have gone 122-122 w/ only 1 playoff win. A perfect picture of mediocrity, yet, I still get called a “bandwagon” fan.

This man fails to see the point. It’s not that Cowboys fans are exclusively bandwago...

Gophers Week 3 Preview vs. Western Michigan

Oh baby, WE'RE 2-0!

I'll tell you what else, the B1G is in shambles. When is the last time the conference went .500 in a non-conference week? Trick question, they've had an odd number of teams since 1990. Anyway, they went 6-6 last week. Wisconsin is in full coachless, RussellWilsonless meltdown mode. Iowa is staggering through their non-conf schedule by barely beating NIU and losing to Iowa State. The Norhern Iowa Lumberjacks come to Kinnick this week to steal one. Indiana lost their playmaking QB, TRE Roberson. You know he's awesome because his name is Tre. Illinois got smoked by Arizona State and Nebraska took a dump against UCLA. This bodes well for our Gophers. Who knows, they might even get a few conference wins?

For now the attention is on tomorrow's matchup with the Western Michigan Broncos. The Gophers are just 2.5 point favorites in this one and the home team generally gets 3 points just for playing in their place; so the oddsmakers have this being a very

Sports songs are just usually terrible. Think of Prince’s Minnesota Vikings song, Scott Stapp’s Florida Marlins anthem. Just two of many examples. Kid Rock has represented his hometown Detroit Lions with…well you just have to play it after the jump to endure the awfulness.

What Exactly Were You Expecting From A Steven Tyler National Anthem, America

Aerosmith frontman and American Idol judge Steven Tyler performed his version of the national anthem before Sunday’s AFC Championship between the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens, and most of Monday’s Internet has been about how terrible it was. The L.A. Times has a post up called Steven Tyler’s national anthem: Worst ever? [Poll], comparing it to similarly-awful versions by Roseanne Barr, Carl Lewis, Christina Aguilera and, worst of all, Scott Stapp. What could Tyler have possibly done in this lifetime to be compared to Scott Stapp? That’s like being told you’ve got 24 hours to live.
To recap, Steven Tyler:
1. is 63-years old.
2. is dressed like a lady hobo.
3. has more or less sung exactly the same song since he decided he wanted his voice to sound like a descending hawk circa 1975′s Toys In The Attic and has topped the popular music charts with at least 100 #1 singles in said voice since said album.
So, to reiterate … what exactly were you expecting from a Steven Tyl...

Justifying today’s bowls: Wake up the echoes in the Champs Sports Bowl. Then wake up the crowd.

Bowls: There are a lot of them. Most of which seem to have been created solely to bilk taxpayer-funded universities for the sake of upselling a few hotel rooms. As a public service, we're cutting through the fat in search of a few good reasons — or any reason — for these spectacles to exist. Today: Scanning the post-Christmas fare in the Champs Sports and Alamo Bowls.
LOCALE: Remember that place, named for that thing?
The Alamodome ("America's Favorite Square Dome") opened in 1993 with vague hopes of luring an NFL franchise to the Mission City, and it's done just about everything but that: Besides the Alamo Bowl, the dome's regular tenants have included the San Antonio Spurs, an ill-fated CFL franchise, three Big 12 championship games, the annual Texas Football Classic to kick off the high school season and the prestigious U.S. Army All-American Bowl for some of the nation's top recruits.
The closest it's gotten to the NFL, though, is six preseason...

In Honor of Beavis and Butthead's Triumphant Return

Drew really ruined the surprise yesterday, but today’s edition is being dedicated to Beavis and Butthead (I refuse to put a – between the t and h). Now, for all of you young punks and old ****, B&B was an MTV cartoon from the mid-90’s that was pretty revolutionary at the time. It was about nothing and might be the dumbest show in the history of TV…but that was part of its charm. It spawned Dut’s favorite show, Daria! Well, it came back last night. After about a decade of silence, the boys are back. As I said, I’m a little nervous about B&B redux because my maturity level may not appreciate it as much today as I did in high school. But let’s be honest, I haven’t matured that much. I’m sure that I’ll love it.

To answer your question, yes, I do own the complete Beavis and Butthead series on 6 DVDs. I have only tried watching them once but I got pissed off because they took out the best part of all the old episodes…those two watching music videos. The video comments were my fav...

Hank Williams Jr. replacement ideas

As you have probably heard by now, ESPN has canned Hank Williams Jr. and his classic song “Are You Ready For Some Football” from its Monday Night Football broadcasts.
Despite the fact that no one really cares (or should care) what a musician thinks about anything other than the songs he is playing, ESPN decided that Williams’ controversial comments about Barack Obama and Hitler (I still don’t exactly what they were) were just too much for a Worldwide Leader to bear.
Whatever.
The truth of the matter is that ever since Monday Night Football went to ESPN, big Hank and his song have lost almost all of their relevancy.
It used to be that MNF started with a Hank-ignited bang right at 8:00 on ABC, followed by a few minutes of succinct stage-setting, and then BAM!..the game started. Now that Monday Night Football is on ESPN, the pregame show starts pretty much right after Mike & Mike in Morning ends and goes all the way up until kickoff. The theme song occurs sometime in between C...
