      <title>Some Surprises on Utah&#8217;s Post-Spring Depth Chart</title>
      <description>The University of Utah released its pre-fall depth chart Monday on the heels of a high-scoring Red-White spring game.
Here&#8217;s a look at the biggest winners and losers coming out of spring workouts and looking ahead to fall camp.
QB:
Every coach preaches about the open competition for quarterback and every other position for that matter.  Coach Whittingham certainly hinted at the fact that Adam Schulz and Brandon Cox were pushing Travis Wilson for the starting job.  If you happened to buy into that coach talk, Wilson quickly put any of those questions to bed.  The sophomore signal caller was spectacular Saturday completing 13 of 17 passes for 210 yards.  He directed the White team to five scores in the first half before getting lassoed for the game.  Most importantly he did not have any turnovers.
Only two other QBs played Saturday.  Adam Schulz got the chance to show off his rocket arm when he connected with Dres Anderson for a 57-yard completion on the first play from scrimmage for ...</description>

      <title>Utah focuses on D line, backs and QBs</title>
      <description>Utah used national signing day to load up on defensive linemen, running backs and quarterbacks as those were the three most pressing needs for a team coming off a 5-7 season.

The Utes lost three starters along the defensive line in Star Lotulelei, and Dave and Joe Kruger. They signed a handful at the position, including two from Trinity High School in Euless, Texas - 6-foot-5 defensive end Sam Tevi and 6-5 defensive tackle Keio Vaenuku. The Utes added 6-4 offensive tackle Salesi Uhatafe, also from Trinity.

With just one quarterback returning who has played a college game, the Utes signed three prep stars in Brandon Cox, Conner Manning and Micah Thomas.

Utah returns Travis Wilson and Adam Schulz, both freshmen last season, at quarterback.

Utah also signed four running backs as the Utes aim to replace John White.

Devontae Booker, a junior college transfer from California, is expected to push Kelvin York.
