The Ghost Of Christopher Lloyd Saved Rays Reporter Kelly Nash From An Instagram Death

What you’re looking at is the best-possible and most serendipitous sports “selfie” you can take.Meet Tampa Bay Rays reporter Kelly Nash. In addition to being pretty and having a great baseball job, she comes equipped with a magical forcefield that keeps her from getting drilled by fly balls when she’s taking Instagram pics at Fenway Park instead of paying attention. The photo hasn’t been doctored … in fact, representatives from the Rays speaking with Yahoo Sports seemed surprised at the idea that anyone WOULD doctor a photo like that, and I have to agree. I can’t get my phone to take a picture of anything more mobile than a bowl of fruit without it blurring up. This photo was a gift.If you’re wondering what mystical force kept Kelly from getting brained, here’s a quick conversation from her Twitter this morning explaining why she and actor Tony Danza are so very much alike:When asked for a comment, Joseph Gordon-Levitt just started staring at me and flapping his arms. The post Th...

I’m usually not a big fan of the Bad Lip-Reading gag, but their take on the NFL is pretty funny. Highlights include Tom Brady being white, Matt Schaub’s pregnant cat and Peyton Manning’s speed potions. Good stuff.
Mike Tyson Makes Broadway Debut: a Homecoming Fit for a King

Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson returned to New York last night in the Broadway debut of his one-man show “Undisputed Truth”, running through August 12 at the Longacre Theater.
The 46-year old Tyson, originally from the rough streets of Brooklyn, opened the show with a welcome and a comical promise.
“Welcome to my living room. You will all leave with two ears.”
The audience, which included celebrities such as New York Yankee stars Derek Jeter, C.C. Sabathia and Curtis Granderson, Donald Trump, Spike Lee, who directed this Broadway version of Tyson’s autobiography that premiered at the MGM Grand in April, Ahmad Rashad, Jake LaMotta and Tony Danza, were guests in the champion’s ‘living room’ for the following two hours.
With images displayed on the large screen behind him, Tyson took us through the photo album of his life. The soft-spoken and reflective Tyson shared various memories and stories, starting with his mother whom he admitted he did not remember much about beyond her...

Danni Rosner - West available on iTunes today

Every so often, people come into your life and you immediately know you'll never lose contact with them. After high school graduation, myself and a few of the Thunder Treats elite were on vacation when we met Danni Rosner. Like us, she was on vacation with her crew and hanging on to that last bit of summer. She was charismatic, warm, friendly, and a blast to be around. We didn't know that in a few years she would have fearlessly conquered Amateur Night at the Apollo in NYC singing Aretha Franklin's "Chain of Fools", support top 40 musician Matt Nathanson and Grammy award winner Marc Cohn, independently release her albums in-stores at Best Buy, host a music video tv show on PBS, get her song placed on A&E's TEACH: Tony Danza, and pick up everything she owned in VA and move to Los Angeles to puruse her dreams; we just knew that she was a good person and a true friend.

Today, her second full length album, West, hits the iTunes store for the awesome price of $9.90! West i

Mike Tyson might take his Vegas one-man show to Broadway

Famous ear-biting ex-boxer Mike Tyson's one-man show hasn't even opened in Las Vegas and the former heavyweight champion is already looking to take it to The Great White Way, according to TMZ.

Tyson's Vegas show "Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth— Live on Stage" opens in less than a month at MGM Grand's Hollywood Theatre in Las Vegas from April 13-18 and there is already a buzz about taking it on the road. Tyson is waiting to see how ticket sales do before planning a tour.

If the show does well and a tour is planned, New York would be one of the first stops.

According to the report, Tyson has "always wanted to do a show on Broadway, and he feels this could be his chance."

Before Broadway snobs yell 'Mamma Mia,' former-boxer Tony Danza tap-danced his way into a part as Max Bialystock in the "The Producers" and is set to appear in a musical version of "Honeymoon in Vegas" next year.

Tyson's show is expected to feature the brutish ex-fig

Barry Sanders is selling cars and is one great actor

Here is a commerical for Barry Sanders Honda, located in Stillwater, Oklahoma. It took nearly a decade and half for Barry to regularly start showing his face, after abruptly quitting the Lions on the eve of training camp in 1999. Maybe the Detroit Lions finally turning the corner was the one thing that was needed so that Barry and fans could move on.

I have to say, already better than Tony Danza. Didn’t even need to use his real name. This is the second time he has pulled off the feat.

Wayne Kelly (1948 - 2012): No Gimmick Necessary

(Wayne Kelly, with Tony Danza)He needed no gimmick and drew no attention to himself. It was modesty, perhaps, that overshadowed his merits, as his name was oft overlooked in casual discussions of the United States’ best officials. For veteran referee Wayne Kelly, who passed away last Wednesday due to heart attack at age 63, this mattered none. Of his peers in the fight community, Kelly commanded great respect.

Twenty years playing the third man inevitably saw his involvement with some major incidents, yet the grace with which he handled them elicited little -- if any -- contention. Though I missed the opportunity to meet Mr. Kelly in my five brief years covering the sport, I have always admired his work from afar. With the announcement of his name during pre-fight introductions came the reassurance that I could focus on the in-ring action, rather than the competency (or lack thereof) of the calls. With that, I will leave it to Harold Lederman and officials Benjy Est...

The Jets Grinch Their Own Christmas

If there’s any good news about the hangover from this abysmal loss today, it’s that we have some perspective. To many this is a day of great significance … a day about remembering who and what really matters. When it comes to the Jets – quite honestly – the meanings of Christmas or Hanukkah pales in comparison.
Anyway, on to the rabble-rousing.
Talent Show – One of the things we said all season long is that this team just isn’t talented enough – that they backslid from last season. Over the past two weeks this is been painfully obvious. The team had neither the depth nor the talent at starting spots that they did last year. So in some ways it’s easy to be merciful on this team. The truth is they are a talented enough team to make the playoffs – it’s just not working for whatever reason.
Half-Step Up – One of the things we wondered this season was whether or not Mark Sanchez was up to the task of filling the void of the newfound deficiency of talent. Clearly he’s not at a point
