John Krasinski and Jimmy Fallon Have A Lip Sync Battle To End All Lip Sync Battles

John Krasinski was a guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, and he brought with him the incredible idea to have a lip sync battle with Jimmy. The result? One of the greatest moments in late night television history. Watch the clip above to see the two (silently) belt out some Katy Perry, Run DMC, and Boyz II Men, among others.

Ben Gibbard (or, more recently, Benjamin) is a pretty prolific guy. Beyond the 35-year-old Pacific Northwest native's dayjob as frontman of the highly succesful indie rock outfit Death Cab For Cutie, Gibbard also caught a lot of noterity as the voice of The Postal Service (remember "Such Great Heights?"), released several solo albums under the moniker of ¡All-Time Quarterback!, played a small role in the John Krasinski film Brief Interviews with Hideous Men and recorded a solo album with Son Volt vocalist Jay Farrar back in 2009.
2005 Sports News: Dwight Schrute Gets Kings Tickets In A Jell-O Mold

Actor Rainn Wilson wanted tickets to Game 4 of the Western Conference Final between the Los Angeles Kings and the Phoenix Coyotes, so the wacky Kings Twitter team — the same team who helped build Stanley Cup sandcastles and just trolled Marlon Wayans (Marlon Wayans!) for liking basketball more than hockey — responded the only way they knew how: by referencing the first episode of ‘The Office’.
The exchange, by way of Puck Daddy:

I don’t blame them for referencing that instead of anything that’s happened since Jim and Pam got married (what’re they supposed to do, off him tickets inside of a boring storyline about who wants to run Dunder-Mifflin?), but if I was Wilson I’d trick them into phasing all their tweets in the form of meatballs.
Here’s a pic of Luc Robitaille presenting Dwight with his tickets, or one of the Blues Brothers getting a gift from Jason Bateman, I can’t really tell because they Instagram’d it and they might as well have been standing in a 1970s sandstorm:

VIDEO: Craig Robinson and Nick Offerman in hilarious New Era commercial

Craig Robinson plays the character of Darryl on The Office, and Nick Offerman plays Ron Swanson on Parks & Recreation. The shows air back to back (usually) on NBC's Thursday night comedy lineup. The two also have something else in common: both are fans of Chicago sports teams, with Offerman supporting the Cubs and Robinson pledging allegiance to the White Sox.
The two go back and forth during the commercial, with the baseball (and city) related jabs at each other ringing true to many fans, regardless of your fandom.
My favorite line during the commercial was Offerman referring to US Cellular Field as "mobile phone park", as the stadium gained the rather generic sounding name before the 2003 season as a replacement for the hallowed name of Comiskey Park, which was rebuilt in time for the 1991 season.
This ad is a definite improvement over the series of Alec Baldwin-John Krasinski ads that flooded airwaves last year, which gave off more of an upper class, elite...

Baseball is back and with it...dawns a new era of, well, New Era cap commercials.Last year's batch showcased the rivalry between Boston Red Sox fan John Krasinski and New York Yankees fan Alec Baldwin. This year...the cap company is taking their commercials to the Windy City and feature Nick Offerman and Craig Robinson.Question...what is with only casting NBC sitcom stars in these things? Can a guy get the comedic stylings of Max Greenfield?Or, if they plan on sticking with NBC's Thursday night lineup...I'll gladly watch Ben Schwartz.

Park & Rec's Ron Swanson and The Office's Darryl star in New Era ads

New Era seems to really love actors from NBC sitcoms. Last year the hat company featured Red Sox fan John Krasinski (Jim Halpert from "The Office") and Yankee fan Alec Baldwin (Jack Donaghy from "30 Rock") in a series of hilarious ads that highlighted the rivalry between the two A.L. East foes.

This year the company has chosen to feature Cubs fan Nick Offerman (alpha-male Ron Swanson from "Parks and Recreation") and White Sox fan Craig Robinson (Darryl Philbin from "The Office"). The ads look like they'll aim to poke fun at the intra-city rivalry in Chicago. The first one does not disappoint...but, really, could anything involving Ron Swanson disappoint?

New York’s pizza is better than Chicago’s but this is funny

Last season, New Era ran a series of ads involving Alec Baldwin and John Krasinski fighting back and forth over the Yankees and Red Sox. This season it looks like it’ll be Nick Offerman and Craig Robinson going back and forth about the Cubs and White Sox. It’s not Yankee related anymore, but I have a feeling that I’m going to run a few of these anyway because it is baseball related and I like Offerman and Robinson.
Here is, what I’m assuming, is the first of a few of these that we’ll see this season.

Today’s Best Thing Ever: White Sox v Cubs Debate Between Nick Offerman and Craig Robinson

This video should require no qualifiers other than the title to suggest to you how awesome it is.
Just watch.

—–
Last year it was Alec Baldwin and John Krasinski debating Yankees/Red Sox. I’m delighted they left the east coast and came home to the midwest for this year’s series.
If the one-liners are as good all year as the ones here, this is going to be great.
And sorry Swanson. I’m with Craig on this one.

You know those New Era commercials featuring Alec Baldwin and John Krasinski? Well, as it turns out, season 22 of the CBS show "Survivor" almost had its own New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox cap feud.Allow me to explain."Survivor: Redemption Island" featured returning favorite (and eventual winner) "Boston" Rob Mariano and his trademark Red Sox lid squaring off against one of the game's biggest villains Russell Hantz. And as it turns out, Hantz had a particular item on his luxury item wishlist."My luxury item for Redemption Island with Rob (Mariano) was a New York Yankees baseball cap," the three-time contestant told fellow former castaway Rob Cesternino during a recent podcast interview. "But they said no way."There's no word as what Hantz (a Houston Astros fan, by the way) was allowed to bring to Nicaragua for the show...but the Yankees cap would have been a nice touch.
