What's up everybody this is Calvin Pace of the New York Jets, I guess I'm one of the newest members of the yardbarkers community. This is my first year as a member of the Jets after spending the previous 5 years in Arizona and it's been the time of my life. This is a special week with it being the week of Thanksgiving. It was extra special to me because it was my daughters first Thanksgiving, I did feel bad for her because she had to sit and watch me eat turkey with all the trimmings and she had to eat baby food....to go along with the ultimate theme of giving back I had the opportunity to help give out turkeys and other groceries to people who were in need and that always makes me feel good and keeps me grounded....well this is week 12 vs the Denver Broncos and we are riding a 5 game win streak, it's crazy how the games keep getting more and more important as the weeks go along but this Bronco team has some serious weapons with Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal, and Jay Cutler but if we slow those guys down we will be fine on defense.

All the experts said that a possible Rookie of the Year would be playing Monday night in the last game of the NFL's week 1. Most of them would have been wrong by which team he played for, though. Denver Broncos' receiver Eddie Royal looked like one of the best draft picks that Mike Shanahan has ever made. Of course, most of his yards came from Jay Cutler, who was in turn protected by Ryan Clady (2 first round picks). Maybe these 3 picks have changed Shanahan's luck with the draft....
