2009 Colorado Rockies Preview

The Blue Workhorse 2009
2008 was certainly a disappointing season for the Rockies, following up a National League title with a dismal 74-win season. The off-season saw the departure of coveted stars Matt Holliday and Brian Fuentes, as well as speedy outfielder Willy

De La Rosa went 10-8 with a 4.92 ERA in 130 innings for the Rockies last season. He has the potential, if he can command his pitches better, to be a solid back-end of the rotation starter.

Jason Marquis Heading To The Rockies

According to the Denver Post, the Colorado Rockies will trade Luis Castillo to the Chicago Cubs in return for starting pitcher Jason Marquis.
