Kevin Curtis isn’t the Eagles Best Option to Start at Wide Receiver

Despite my gut instinct, I have to admit that I didn’t have the courage to make this statement until Eagles aficianado, Tommy Lawlor, scribed a similar question regarding Kevin Curtis’ 2007 production. I haven’t been biting my tongue but I have reserved my writing.
I’ve been thinking this way prior to the Eagles drafting of Jeremy Maclin, but now the deal is sealed [...]

X Marks the Spot

GCobb.com had an interesting article a couple days ago about Kevin Curtis‘ latest surgery. According to the post, Curtis had not planned on having another procedure done, but continued soreness in his groin precipitated the decision to go under the knife again. Curtis is supposed to “feel better” soon.
This reeks of Danny Briere. The Flyers‘ [...]

Marvin Harrison and the Eagles: a perfect match?

Why is every available receiver always linked to the Eagles? The latest wideout linked to the Birds is Colts veteran Marvin Harrison, who is likely to get cut in the coming days due to his large salary and dwindling statistics. The Eagles make a possible landing spot for Harrison because he is a native Philadelphian and he has ties with Donovan McNabb, a fellow teammate at Syracuse. However, why the Eagles would want this aging receiver is beyond me. Yes, he is an 8 time Pro Bowler...

Coming out of the break Kev's body is flailing while he is falling down, he awkwardly lunges away from Hood's hands which are all over his back trying to drag him to the ground and as he goes to reach for the ball he can't even ...

The word coming out of Philadelphia is that WR Kevin Curtis, who has been out recovering from sports hernia surgery, is almost ready to play. Curtis practiced with the scout team on Wednesday, and is scheduled to practice again on Thursday.

McNabb Updates Blog, Cowboys Up Next, Curtis Recovering Well, Pacman Talking Smack

McNabb posted his reaction to the Rams game over at Yardbarker, Checklist: Start fast? Yes. It was just a short and sweet posting thanking his offensive line and defense for dominating the game. The Cowboys are next week and I found this image over there, which I just had to post.In other Eagles news:-- Kevin Curtis may be able to return sooner than expected, reports Bleeding Green Nation. We may see him back in action before the October 12th game against the 49ers.-- Pacman Jones is already running his mouth about the Eagles wideouts. Let's go out an embarrass him next week.

Eagles coach Andy Reid said today that top receiver Kevin Curtis will be "out for a while".? Curtis suffered a hernia problem against the Panthers and the team deecided that it would be best for Curtis to undergo hernia surgery now.? He will definitely miss the opener against the Rams.?

MCNABB HAVING SHOULDER TROUBLE?

One of Donovan McNabb's receivers indicated that the quarterback may be dealing with a sore shoulder at Eagles minicamp.

After Wednesday's practice Kevin Curtis said that McNabb was looking good "but I think he has a little bit of a sore shoulder." The Delaware County Times reports that McNabb wasn't so sharp on Tuesday and was seen rubbing his shoulder as if it were hurt. At the mandatory minicamp in May, McNabb was shut down early at a couple of practices.
