Mets All In As Spring Training Comes to a Close

Based on yesterday’s spring training game against the Yankees, it looks like all the Mets will be on the field on Opening Day. Tim Byrdak and Andres Torres both took part in today’s game. Torres looked good running the bases and Byrdak looked like his old self on the mound.
With all the bad talk surrounding the Mets this spring, they look like the most put together team in the NL East. I’m not saying they look like they’re going to win it all or anything but they have everyone in place and they aren’t scrounging for leftovers like the Braves and Phillies. They know who is leading off, unlike the Nats and they aren’t looking combustible like the Marlins.
If I had to handicap the division, the Mets stand a good chance of a quick start and that would help keep them relevant. The Indians did it last year and so did the Diamondbacks, the DBacks even made the playoffs. I would say the Marlins are going to win the division followed by the Phillies, Mets, Braves, Nats. But anything can happ...

Oregon Ducks All-Time Team

QB- Dennis Dixon (2004-2007) - The first thing I think about when Dixon’s name is brought up reminds me of the hardships and adversity that he overcame to become a Pittsburgh Steeler, and among the top All-time quarterbacks for the Oregon Ducks. In this List of greats, he is #1 at the position and I will tell you why.
Dixon left Eugene with career numbers of 5,129 yards passing and 38 touchdowns in the air, and 1,208 with 12 scores on the ground. I had season tickets for 18 beautiful years of taking in every sense that was around in Eugene each Saturday for half of my life, and Dixon’s 4 years were magical. As my #1 quarterback in school history, Dixon beat out Dan Fouts, Kellen Clemens, Darron Thomas and Joey Harrington; all because 2007 evolved the program to what it is in 2012. The team winning percentage and prestige level would still be around the same as their rival up north, had Dixon not started a new trend, both on the field and recruiting.

It has been a wild and fast ride for Tim Tebow, who appears on the way to either being a major bust or possibly a global icon.

Herculean Tim Tebow
We learned that Tim Tebow understands he is quite popular with the public and wanted to have a little laugh at the golf course, so instead of always being so serious, he decided to fool around. He didn’t expect the photoshop shot of his arms to go viral.

Draft Day Tim Tebow
In, true Muhammad Ali fashion, Tim Tebow shook up the world, when his name was called in the 1st round, 25th pick, when most experts believed it was impossible for him to picked up before the third or fourth round.
