It's that time of the year, the time most of us hated as students -- the mid-term grades. The Jets are 4-4 after starting 3-0, so don't expect too many As and Bs on this card. I could say that NFL players are bad at marriage, but why look at it negatively? The glass remains half-full here at The Corner. I say they have a gift for divorce. General Manager Mike Tannenbaum has announced that tight end Bubba Franks was released. Franks (6'6", 265), is a 10-year veteran and was originally signed by the Jets on Mar. 17, 2008. He caught six passes for 47 yards in eight games (four starts) during the 2008 season. He was re-signed by the Jets on May 12, 2009.
