From: Pro Football Talk.com The New York Giants officially have added receiver Derek Hagan to the roster. Per a league source, a roster spot was created for Hagan by placing running back Reuben Droughns on injured reserve. Hagan adds depth to a depth chart that is missing Plaxico Burress.

What up Yardbarker, its your boy D Ward here. We have a night game, so I woke up early had some breakfast and now just writing this blog on my hotel bed in Dallas.

Tough loss last week at home versus the Eagles, I cant say too much other than the fact that it was a wake up call for our team. We were blessed to clinch the division with the Steelers 20-13 win against the Cowboys who we face this week in the big NBC Sunday Night Football showdown from Irving, Texas.

My partner in crime with this running attack, 27 Brandon Jacobs left our last game early with an aggravated knee. He is sitting this game out so the load is now on me and my other partner in crime Ahmad Bradshaw. Reuben Droughns and Danny Ware might see some action, they are both hard workers and are both ready for the challenge. Dallas has one of the fastest defenses I have faced this year, but our offense has played together for a long time, we are in sync and we are focused on the task at hand, by guaranteeing ourselves a first-round postseason bye and stay in the lead in the race for home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

We are excited at the opportunity to show America how good we really were, and that the team everyone saw highlights of loosing to the Eagles has come and gone for good! I am excited to show how versatile our team is without certain players, I'm just real excited to go out and play football! Dallas is going to try and shut down our running game and force Eli and our receivers to make big plays. We will not loose focus on Giants style football and we will be patient all game playing with fire in our hearts.

I wanted to thank all of you who have been commenting, I know I need to get back to yall and I will plan on answering all the questions that are posted from today to Tuesday. Myself, Steve Smith, Domenik Hixon , and Reuben Droughns had an autograph session at a fashion store called Michael K in SOHO for L-R-G clothing, EA Sports and AMP Energy. Then on Tuesday, we had the L-R-G 10th year anniversary photo shoot, had the pleasure of meeting some of the finest names in Hip-Hop, DJ Jazzy Jeff (Will Smiths old DJ and co-star in "Fresh Prince of Bel Air"), Swizz Beatz, Wale, Pete Rock, Smith & Wesson and many more. Shout out to my boy Saia of L-R-G for getting with my agent Audie Attar to make that happen! Lets go Big Blue!!! GAME TIME BABY!!!

Frank Gore, Chester Taylor, and Thomas Jones. What do all three have in common? For one, they all had strong 2006 campaigns. In fact, each rushed for over 1200 yards (Gore ? 1695; Taylor - 1216; Jones ? 1210) and scored at least 6 TDs (Gore - 9; Taylor ? 6; Jones ? 6). The other thing that ties these three together is that all appeared in the 2006 edition of the Bruno Boys "Snooze Alarm" Rankings for Running Backs. New York Giants The name Brandon Jacobs is not new to fantasy football owners. If you haven't already cashed in on his penchant for finding the end-zone, chances are that you at least recognize him as the guy who greatly reduced Tiki Barber's fantasy value last season. Either way, it's time to get know Brandon Jacobs a little better because he may just be your ticket to fantasy gold. Jacobs earns FOUR SNOOZE ALARMS, topping the Bruno Boys list of sleepers at the Running Back position, and for good reason. To begin with, Tiki Barber's departure to the airways, thrusts Jacobs into the starting running back spot for the New York Giants. While some will say that Jacob's starting status is still uncertain as the Giants have brought in Reuben Droughns, don't believe it. Jacobs is the younger and more explosive back, and the Giants will give every opportunity possible to be their primary ball carrier. That burning smell you have is the seat of Tom Coughlin's pants. The Giants managed to back their way into the playoffs last season only to enjoy an early exit. Tiki Barber has retired at an early age, and the pressure is on Eli Manning now, more than ever. The Giants must quickly find a replacement for their All-Pro running back and believe they have that guy with big Brandon Jacobs. The defense will have to be better than 28th in the NFL for this team to have any chance. The Giants sure didn't seem too worried about it as they were silent in the NFL Free Agency, opting instead to work with what they have and draft some help.
