Oakland injury report has Greg Ellis limited in practice

According to Oakland's injury report, former Cowboy DE Greg Ellis was limited in practice on Monday because of an injured knee. Other Raiders limited in practice were DE Richard Seymour (back) and WR Javon Walker (hamstring). LB Jon Alston (illness), LB Isaiah Ekejiuba (knee) and WR Nick Miller (shin) did not practice.

The coverage of the organized team activities at the Oakland Raiders' facility has centered around JaMarcus Russell's weight, or lack thereof. There are the cursory mentions of the few players who did not take part in these voluntary workouts, which is surprising that no one is claiming that Derrick Burgess or Nnamdi Asomugha is holding out as of yet. As of right now, there are 22 Oakland Raiders who are free agents of one type pf another. The biggest names are Nnamdi Asomugha, Jerry Porter, Justin Fargas, and Daunte Culpepper. Lesser names who are important role players include Chris Carr, Chris Clemons, John Condo, Isaiah Ekejuiba, and Jerrod Cooper. Lane Kiffin and Al Davis are certainly crafting a plan as to which of them to keep, and which to let walk. This is the first crucial stage of the offseason building plan for 2008.
