UNC has a lot of "senior"ity on its team

Looking around the North Carolina Athletic web site, I saw that the roster for next year's basketball team was posted. As you will see below, this year's team might be an anomaly as it is filled with a lot of juniors and seniors, something that is almost unreal in the "one & done" era .

Psycho T & Frasor jump off of Frat House into pool

Since deciding to return to Chapel Hill for his senior season, Tyler Hansbrough and roomie Bobby Frasor decided to have a little fun day-drinking, or at least that's what I'm assuming. The two were seen jumping off of Sigma Alpha Epsilon's roof and into an above ground pool today. Well, I can't be too sure but I think this might not be the best decision for a National Player of the Year and future NBA millionaire or a guy coming back from ACL surgery, but I could be wrong. Wow, nice way to risk your future Psycho T, just don't get hurt.

Tar Heels lose Lawson to ankle injury, barely escape with OT win over FSU

The biggest game of the season thus far (Wed, Duke) for the North Carolina Tar Heels will be played without their top two point guards. Backup Bobby Frasor tore his ACL about a month ago and is out for the season, while starter Ty Lawson suffered an ankle sprain in last nights OT victory over Florida St. The Heels needed 22 points and 21 boards from Tyler Hansbrough to stay on top of the Seminoles, but the bigger issue may be the lack of depth at PG now. 3rd stringer Quentin Thomas may get the start, or 2 guard Marcus Ginyard may run the point. Looking forward to seeing what the Heels have in store for the #2 Duke Blue Devils.

#1 North Carolina keeps rolling with victory over Nevada Wolfpack

The Tar Heels keep their winning ways alive today, after beating UC Santa Barbara earlier in the week they defeated the Wolfpack of Nevada today 106-70. Tyler Hansbrough dumped in 26 points while Wayne Ellington added a season high 23 andTy Lawson added 16 points and a career best 10 assits. The Tar Heels are off to their best start since 1997-98, but it didn't come without a price. Super-sub guard Bobby Frasor tore his left ACL after landing awkwardly on the sideline. He is done for the season and his loss will affect the depth of the Heels.
