Looking For Dick

This is what it means to be a Bills fan: You spend your December days hunched over a team photo like some Bletchley Park code cracker, looking for proof that your recently shitcanned coach has been photoshopped into oblivion. A fellow named Josh Fitz believes he's found it. You'll see, first of all, that Dick Jauron is curiously absent from a photo that makes room for everyone from Ralph Wilson Jr. to the assistant equipment manager to something called Gibran Hamdan. Fitz writes: 1. ...

I'll be honest. Coming off of a holiday highlighted by three full days of tryptophan-induced lethargy (oh, how I love Thanksgiving), I knew heading into Sunday that my weekly film session post wasn't going to be as in-depth as usual. My apologies for not warning you before this morning; call it a preparatory lethargy on my part.
The Buffalo Bills blew the Mi...

Players of the Game - vs. Saints

I think it is obvious that no offensive player made my list this week. But there were still a few standout Bills that deserve recognition.
4. Drayton Florence - playing in his first game since being injured in the preseason, Drayton looked good breaking up several plays and always seemed to be covering his man at [...]

But he was inactive due to injury, and he wasn't with...

In-game tweets from Drayton Florence

Bills cornerback Drayton Florence, who is among the inactive players for Monday night's game against the Patriots, either doesn't know about the league's ban on in-game tweeting. Or he doesn't care.Or maybe he thinks it doesn't apply to guy's who...

Hurricane Fay

I've got a lot of first time things going on in my life right now and I guess I can add my first hurricane to that. I've been watching the news and reading about it. As a California guy you say earthquake and I'm ok. I figure it's going to be 20-30 seconds and it's over. Hurricane, that's a different story. I've been asking the guys what's going to happen and then Drayton Florence started asking me if I'm scared. I wouldn't say scared, maybe anxious. I'm paying attention because it's a totally new experience. I guess it's not that big a deal, no one around the hotel seems too concerned about it. The guys and coaches just say it's going to be a lot of rain and thunder and lightning, they seem to be downplaying it. I know we're planning to practice. We'll either be outside, doubtful, or in a gym doing a walk through practice. They say it's hurricane season so I guess you get through this one and get ready for the next one.
