Shahbulat Shamhalaev became the second Russian to advance to the finals of his Season 7 tournament by making a violent example out of Mike Richman in the co-main event of the evening. In the main event of the evening, Heavyweight Richard Hale made one of the more miraculous comebacks of 2012 with his TKO finish of Thiago Santos. When Hale meets the winner of Queiroz vs. Volkov in this seasons Heavyweight final he will be fighting in his Bellator tourney final.
