Where has the Red Sox outfield gone?

Everyone freaked out before the season started because of the situation in the outfield. Who would start between Coco and Ellsbury? Would Drew return to form? Is Manny healthy enough to play a whole season?

60+ games into the season and this still seems to be the situation. Ellsbury rolled/sprained his wrist last night. Coco potentially got himself suspended for a few days. Manny is battling hamstring issues. The situation was so messed up last night that at one point the outfield consisted of Chris Carter, Drew, and Kevin Youkilis.

Ellsbury will miss tonight's game, and need an MRI if his wrist still hurts tomorrow. Coco will probably play, at least until the suspensions are handed down. Manny will be forced to DH again, if he plays at all. The Sox have also called up outfielder Brandon Moss from Pawtucket (they sent down Chris Carter to do so) as a temporary solution to a potential big time problem.

Who Gets the 25th Spot? Moss or Carter?

As the time goes by, it looks more and more like the final roster spot in Boston is coming down to Brandon Moss and Chris Carter.
