Well, he's moving past Joey Harrington now. But that's not all good news for Matthew Stafford, who started despite an injured left shoulder Thursday against Green Bay and finished with another lesson in humility.
Stafford tied Harrington's franchise rookie record with his 12th TD pass of the

Cowboys stifle Oakland passing game

Oakland quarterback Bruce Gradowski completed only 5-of-15 passes for 42 yards in the first half, with two of the completions during garbage time near the end of the second quarter.

It is the second-lowest passing output in the first half this season by a quarterback with at least 15 attempts. Denver's Kyle Orton completed 10-of-15 passes for 35 yards against Baltimore in October.

It was the lowest first-half passing output against the Cowboys since October 19, 2003. In the first half o...

Harrington to Green Bay? Could Be, But Don't Expect a Miracle.

Michael Lombardi over at the National Football Post says aloud what I was thinking yesterday when I saw Joey Harrington was cut from the Saints. He's worth a shot in green and gold.I’m hearing the Packers might make a move for Joey Harrington now that the Brian Brohm era has ended in Green Bay. Brohm never looked quick-minded or in rhythm the past two summers. Matt Flynn clearly out-played Brohm and looked like he had a much better command of the offense.Obviously, I wish he would give us...

Eagles Tie Bengals 13-13, Seriously

What the hell was that? A tie, seriously? That was the most pathetic offensive showing that I've ever seen. Akili Smith, Ryan Leaf, or Joey Harrington could have won that game for the Eagles. Four turnovers by McNabb. Countless balls thrown into the ground that were nowhere close to a receiver. Interceptions thrown right into the hands of defenders. It was like he was intentionally trying to lose the game.

I just can't wait to hear his explanation. The only explanation that I can think of is that he was severely hungover and didn't feel like playing football. I'm not buying the confusing defensive scheme of the genius 1-8-1 Cincinnati Bengals coaching staff as an excuse. To borrow a line from Bill Maher...

New Rule: McNabb doesn't drink Saturday nights before games.

Taking Away Their Man Cards

Ok, you are Joey Harrington's agent. You've probably earned your paycheck more than anyone else in professional sports. Your client has the same name as Montana and Theisman but still demands to be called Joey. In a game where machismo and reputation are necessities on the field, Joey enjoys playing the piano, alienating his teammates, and doing other unnamed things that you made disappear when you got him that mail order bride with the nice hoo-ha's.
