Like most people who followed the USC Trojans in the last few years, I've been waiting on Dwayne Jarrett's entry into the NFL to see how he'd perform with the big boys. It turns out Mr. Jarrett is a "slow learner" and hasn't been able to digest enough of the playbook in order to earn a spot in rotation. Steve Smith is not happy. Jarrett has only gotten to put his uniform on for ONE game this season thusfar. What gives?

The first USA TODAY Coaches Poll was announced and USC is ranked #1. No one is going to vehemently disagree with that assessment. According to profootballtalk.com, USC receiver Dwayne Jarrett who will not run in Indy and if he can't run any faster than the 4.7 he put up in the 40 in a private workout, he can kiss the 1st round goodbye. BTW, Greg Olson, the TE from the "U" ran a 4.45 and is now a probable top-15 pick. Are you listening Carolina Panthers?
