After long, agonizing months of talking about Bob Sanders' knee, Jim Caldwell's coaching abilities, and Tony Ugoh's manliness we'll finally have some Colts football to talk about this weekend. For the first time since January 3rd, we can watch our favorite team engage in competitive football. If that doesn't get you excited, then you should probably try to buy a pulse on eBay.
The next 17 weeks promises to be a time full of twists and turns, highs and lo...

No Logo Needed Mock Draft: 27th Pick

And the mock draft keeps rolling. Don't be surprised to see some players taken here in the next few picks that the Vikings are going to be considering on draft day. The Colts are on the clock looking to shore up their defense (when are they NOT looking to shore up their defense) and to possibly supply Peyton Manning with some more weapons on offense. Making the pick are the writers of 18 to 88.With the 27th pick, the Indianapolis Colts select:Peria Jerry, DT, Mississippi StateBill Polian ...

Colts Roster Updates On Madden

The first roster update for Madden was announced.? There weren't very many changes, but the Colts did end up on there in some capacity.? Here are the changes that were made:
FS Brannon Condren: Added to the roster
DT Quinn Pitcock: Retired
WR Marvin Harrison: Rating Up From 94 to 96
OLB Clint Session: Rating Up From 70 to 76
I still think that the roster will change some by the start of the season.? Here are the changes that I think will end up being made:
QB Quinn Gray added, QB Jim Sorg...

Pitcock Calls It Quits

In a surprising move yesterday, former Buckeye defensive tackle, Quinn Pitcock, decided to call it quits in the NFL, retiring after just playing one season with the Indianapolis Colts. Pitcock, who was the Colts' third round selection a year ago, did not report to training camp with the rest of the team, and his agent told ESPN, "After much deliberation and careful thought, Quinn resolved to retire from the NFL,".

This move was certainly a shocker, especially to Buckeye nation, as Pitcock appeared in 9 games (18 tackles and 1.5 sacks) last season, showing tremendous upside towards the end of the Colts' regular season schedule. He was expected to compete for a starting spot at DT this year, and at least, certainly would have been a regular in the rotation. The Colts have left the door opened for Pitcock to return to the team, but it doesn't seem like Quinn is about to pull a Brett Favre, at least not this season anyway.

Pitcock was a three year starter at OSU and tallied up 133 tackles and 14 sacks in his career. The Piqua, Ohio native was a defensive captain in his senior year in Columbus and majored in Consumer Affairs while in Columbus. It's certainly sad to see him cut a career with so much potential short, but we wish Quinn the best in whatever he decides to do with his future.

Pitcock Quits, So It’s Time For Another Roster Prediction

Quinn Pitcock has retired from professional football.? I guess he pulled a Ricky Williams.??Indy still hold his rights, so if he would change is mind like Brett Favre, he would have to play for the Colts.? Good thing that this happened at arguably our deepest position.? I'm sure some of the other defensive tackles can make this whole ordeal be forgotten.? Eric Foster, Keyunta Dawson, Darrell Reid, and Ed Johnson should do the trick.
Since Pitcock quit, and I have read some info about who&...

Colts DT Pitcock Retires After One Season in the Pros

In a rather shocking move, the Colts have lost one of their young defensive linemen to of all things?retirement?? Yes, 24-year-old Quinn Pitcock, last seasons third-round pick has had enough of the NFL, as it was announced today that he is retiring after playing just one season.?
Final Pre-Training Camp Colts Roster Prediction

Players report on Thursday, so this is one of the last days to do a?roster prediction.? It feels like now is the best time for one, so here it goes.? 53 players make it on the roster, 8 on the practice squad, and I will put 10 that should keep in touch if injuries take their toll.
53 Man Roster

#18 Peyton Manning-I bet I caught you off guard with this one.

Rosey Passes on Indy, 4 Waived, and An Updated Roster Preview

Long title, short blog.? In some lucky news, Rosevelt Colvin passed on the Indianapolis Colts to sign with the Houston Texans.? This surprised me, as Indianapolis is his home town.? He even has a house in the area.? The money was almost certainly the deciding factor.? My guess is the Colts offered him a veterans minimum contract while the Texans offered one of a much higher value.? I'm glad he passed on the Colts.? With all of the injuries the Colts had last season, adding an injury prone...
