On Saturday night, Hot Tub, Shortround and I went to the Bloomington South High School basketball game against New Albany. It was a match up of the #1 and #2 teams in Indiana Class 4A basketball and featured 5 division 1 college recruits. Four of those play for Bloomington South! Purdue recruit Donnie Hale is the lone standout in New Albany, and he has real promise in matt Painter's system. He is 6'7", long, and has a great sense of the block. He is advertised as having a bi...

So many injuries requires its own blog

This week's injury report raises a question from yours truly: What's the deal? The Colts list every single nicked-up player, guys who have been playing with minor injuries for weeks, something they didn't do before. Don't know if the NFL is cracking down on these things and demanding the utmost in compliance or maybe another team complained about these guys. Anyway, here's the laundry list.

They were not disciplined for an off-the-field incident. They seemed to be left inactive because... well, they just plain...

Today, as I sat in the blazing sun waiting for the tow truck to haul my recently troubled vehicle back to civilization, I said a prayer, and fired up my Ipod to listen to my mp3 recording of the 2006 AFC Championship game. When things look bleak (...
