New International Precedents

With the recent news of Chris Kaman aligning himself with the German National Team, The BearDown started thinking...What? In case you don't feel like following the link I'll sum it up. The 7 foot Clipper Center who's Great Grandparents were German has received German citizenship and will be playing with the German team this summer in Beijing. This leads me to wonder, what type of precedent does this set. Will we see other NBA-ers....

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and What have you

What's up everybody....I've been busy over the holidays...my family came out on Christmas Eve and stayed for a week...having them at my house mixed with practice and games made for a busy holiday week. I got my first points in the NBA the other day against Philly, I was happy that I got to play a little bit while my family was still in town. We finally lost last night after winning 13 straight, but the good thing about the NBA is we get a chance to start a new streak tomorrow night in Minnesota. Happy New Year...thanks for reading - Josh

Going for Ten!

I wish I could say I haven't written in on the yard for a while because I was superstitous with the win streak we have going...but in reality I've just been busy. It's good to check back in though...We've come along way since my last enty, we've won 9 straight, and we play Denver tonight at home to try and make it ten. Everything seems better when you're winning. It's been alot of fun being a part of something special and being on a team that has such great chemistry. Off the court I've been scrambling around trying to get my shopping done and my house in order before my family gets here for Christmas...hopefully my sister will show me how to use my camera so I can get some pictures put on here for you...Happy Holidays...Be back soon...

Back Again.

Whats up everybody....its been a while. I did some video stuff with some of the Yardbarker guys when I was in DC to play the Wizards though so look for that pretty soon. We've been up and down the past few weeks and the Magic got us last night. One of my good friends, JJ Redick plays for Orlando so it was good to hang out with him a little bit the day before the game, but it would have been better to get a win.

I didn't do too much for Thanksgiving...just had practice in the morning and relaxed the rest of the day. We attempted to cook a turkey which shockingly didn't make anybody sick, and we made a pie that turned out pretty well. The only thing that was a little traditional was the fact that we watched Christmas Vacation like we do every year.

We've got Indiana at home tomorrow night before we get back on the road again. I grew up in Indianapolis cheering for the Pacers so I'm looking forward to playing against my hometown team for the first time. Speaking of my hometown...congratulations to Carmel HS for winning the football state championship. Greyhound football rules!...I'll be back soon....Thanks. - Josh
