According to the National Football Post, the Cleveland Browns cut CB Corey Ivy and RB Noah Herron. The release of Ivy is particularly surprising. When Eric Mangini took over the Browns, the team was lacking depth at cornerback, specifically the nickel back position. Corey Ivy, Roderick Hood, and Hank Poteat were brought in to contend for that role, and the team has waived the frontrunners in Ivy and Hood already.
