Golf in the Olympics?

Find more videos like this on www.truveo.com.

In this clip, ESPN golf editor Jason Sobel introduces a novel idea for golf in the Olympics: Make the competition one of 2-person co-ed teams. So the American team could be, as an example, Tiger Woods and Paula Creamer, competing together, as a team.

Paula Creamer Holds It Together After First Round 60, Wins

In terms of "girl athletes that seem pretty cute and might be cool to hang out with," Paula Creamer has to rank pretty high. The Pink Wonder fired an 11-under 60 in the first round of the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic on the LPGA Tour to put herself in excellent position to limp, as she did, to victory over the next three days. It was Creamer's third victory of the year, tying her with Annika Sorenstam and only three wins behin Lorena Ochoa.

Find more videos like this on www.truveo.com.

Highlights from Paula Creamer's round of 60 in Round 1 at the 2008 LPGA Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic. Note the pink ball. I thought Creamer only uses the pink ball in final rounds.

Paula Creamer Nearly Fires First Round 59

If you didn't know, shooting a 59 on a golf course is fairly tough. So tough, only four people (and just one lady, Annika Sorenstam) has done it on the PGA and LPGA Tours. Creamer was four-under on the front nine before catching fire on the back, shooting a cool 27 to miss out on the feat by a shot.

THE WEEK FOR BABES TO CHOKE

It all started at Wimbledon with
Maria Sharapova. She lost in straight sets in the second round. Many people gave her criticism for her un-marialike outfit and her tennis play. Next up was #1 player in the world, Ana Ivanovic. The sexy serb lost in straight sets to a nobody. The tv ratings are going to be horrid for the later rounds!!!
Today, another sexy athlete decided to choke. Paula Creamer was just one stroke back going into todays final round of the US Womens open but a round of 78 left her on her knees...literally.
Well ladies, you left many a sexy athlete fan with blue balls this week. I have no other choice than to post something to cheer us all up a little. Here, Here, and Here.

NIKEiD Custom Shoes.
20 something golfers making a charge

Back in 1997, when a 21-year-old Tiger Woods won the Masters, when he exploded onto the scene, I thought that it could well have started a revolution of youngsters coming through the ranks. This young, talented golfer becoming the first ever black winner on the PGA tour, there would definately be more to follow, right?
