Larry Fitzgerald's performance on Sunday sums up his season at this point - good amount of catches, not a lot of yards, but most importantly, a touchdown.

To say the Cardinals offense put up a dominant effort against the 1-9 Rams would be a stretch. They did however, show sings of brilliancy in the first half. When Matt Leinart took over for the ...

They'll Be OK.....

Damn.

After an unreal evening in the Burgh on Saturday, the Steelers layed this enormous turd in the middle of Heinz field.

0-4 in the redzone = puke on our jeans. There is not a single stat in this game that we could hang our hat on. Yeah, the stat sheet looks even, and neither team scored an offensive touchdown, but none of that matters, the Bengals escaped with a win and the controlling fate of the AFC North Division. No clue where to begin a recap or how to convey our frustratio...

Saturday Sim: Cardinals - Seahawks

Last week, the Saturday Sim featured a close battle between the Cardinals and Texans, with the Cardinals barely edging out the Texans in the last minutes of the game. That did happen. In fact, the Cardinals and Texans game couldn't have been any closer. This week, the Cardinals simulation has them traveling to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. The game wasn't as close but you'll see why in a moment. It should also be mentioned that the conditions were rainy during the game.

The Saturday Sim: Cardinals - Texans

In our most recent Saturday Sim(week 1) we saw a blowout by the Cardinals, which was obviously not the case. After failing to sim successfully the last two games, I had to get back to the drawing board. The Cardinals seemed to blowout every team they played on Madden. After tweaking the settings and increasing the game time to 8 minutes, I think I may have found a good way to sim the games. So today, the Cardinals took on the Texans in a simulated game to the death...ok not really bu...

Former Steelers FB Dan Krieder Inks with the Cards

The Cardinals continued their trend of acquiring former Steelers by signing veteran free agent fullback Dan Kreider today. This effectively ended the possibility of the Terrelle Smith returning to the Cardinals in 2009.
Kreider played in 11 games for the St. Louis Rams in 2008 before being released on November 26th with just one carry [...]

Mike Tomlin’s Day Care Back In Business

Today, at approximately four o'clock in the afternoon, football season officially begins in western Pennsylvania. No longer will Pittsburgh have to suffer through yet another season of pitiful baseball, lousy management, and idiotic trades by our inept Pirates. Tucked safely along the rolling hills of Westmoreland County, the Pittsburgh Steelers will convene their 42nd training camp as the eyes of the Burgh's true sports fans turn to their one true major league franchise.
Best free agents for the Oakland Raiders to target

Almost daily, I read comments from the Raider Nation contemplating, proposing, and even campaigning for free agents that they'd like to see the Oakland Raiders sign. Until June 1st, it's unlikely the Raiders will sign many, if any free agents. According to Fox Sports, the Raiders are sitting at $106,555,076, while the cap is $116 million. That leaves only $9,444,924, roughly a little less that Nnamdi Asomugha is due when he signs his tender for being the Raiders franchise player. Since the Raiders somehow always find a way to fit everyone under the cap, it's not out of the realm of possibility that they may find a way to sign a few of these free agents still available.

The Steelers Might have the Worst Luck

The Steelyard posted an injury report for Pittsburgh this week. This one stood out immediately.

"Apparently, Kendall Simmons suffered a frostbite-like burn after applying a cold pack to his foot while watching Monday Night Football."

Unbelievable. The Steelers won't be full strength for the Chiefs this weekend. Having a lineman hurt himself watching football doesn't. Follow the link to see who else won't be playing on Sunday.
