Damn. After an unreal evening in the Burgh on Saturday, the Steelers layed this enormous turd in the middle of Heinz field. 0-4 in the redzone = puke on our jeans. Last week, the Saturday Sim featured a close battle between the Cardinals and Texans, with the Cardinals barely edging out the Texans in the last minutes of the game. That did happen. In fact, the Cardinals and Texans game couldn't have been any closer. This week, the Cardinals simulation has them traveling to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. In our most recent Saturday Sim(week 1) we saw a blowout by the Cardinals, which was obviously not the case. After failing to sim successfully the last two games, I had to get back to the drawing board. The Cardinals seemed to blowout every team they played on Madden. After tweaking the settings and increasing the game time to 8 minutes, I think I may have found a good way to sim the games. Best free agents for the Oakland Raiders to target

Almost daily, I read comments from the Raider Nation contemplating, proposing, and even campaigning for free agents that they'd like to see the Oakland Raiders sign. Until June 1st, it's unlikely the Raiders will sign many, if any free agents. According to Fox Sports, the Raiders are sitting at $106,555,076, while the cap is $116 million. That leaves only $9,444,924, roughly a little less that Nnamdi Asomugha is due when he signs his tender for being the Raiders franchise player. Since the Raiders somehow always find a way to fit everyone under the cap, it's not out of the realm of possibility that they may find a way to sign a few of these free agents still available.

The Steelyard posted an injury report for Pittsburgh this week. This one stood out immediately. "Apparently, Kendall Simmons suffered a frostbite-like burn after applying a cold pack to his foot while watching Monday Night Football." Unbelievable.
