Figure that only a handful of punts would hit the Jerrytron this season. What if one or two of those makes a major difference in that game?

Picture this scenario: In the Dec. 13 game between the Chargers and Cowboys, a couple of teams jockeying for playoff position in the...

CHARGERS REPORT: The Chargers gave him jersey No. 1. It could stand for Louie Sakoda's one chance in, say, a half-million of beating out kicker Nate Kaeding and/or punter Mike Scifres.

Sproles Will Cash In This Off-Season!

In Saturday's game against the Colts, Sproles had 105 yards rushing, 45 yards receiving, and 2 touchdowns. He also added 178 yards off 7 total returns. For this effort, John Madden gave Darren the player of the game, along with Scifres, the Chargers' punter who had a few key kicks. While Coach Turner has been saying that Scifres deserves to go to the Pro Bowl, Sproles is the one who will get the big reward this off-season. Read more by following the link.

All in all the Vikings gave up over 20 yards per return. Runners Up: Michael Turner got a solid 2.3 yards per carry, Mr. Jackson went 15 for 35.

This Scarecrow Needs a Brain: Chadwick Pennington, Sorry Chad but the ride is over. Your storybook season was over and now it's back to the reality that you don't have the arm to get it done against a big time defense. Runners Up: the refs shouldn't so blatantly give one team a win in overtime, the Edge should really shut up when he is getting a lot of carries again.

Cough Cough Cough: The Colts, You were the visitors so you got to call the coin flip and you failed. And because of this your season is over. Tails never Fails man. Runners Up: the Falcons decided to hand over their lead to the Cardinals, Patrick Cobbs fumbled away the Ravens 1st offensive touchdwon.

The Shocker: Darren Sproles, I thought he would contribute to this game cause I thought LT could go down, but who thought he would end up with the 3rd most yards in the history of playoff games? Runners Up: Boldin catches a 71 yard touchdown pass as he blasts down the sideline but he's hurt?, the Eagles ran Westbrook 20 times despite him gaining 38 yards.

The Pimp: Mike Scifres, Who knew the punter would be the best player all week. 6 Punts total. 6 punts inside the 20. An average of 52.7 yards per kick. That's field position. Runners Up: Ed Reed is a dominator, the Ravens turnover machine that is their defense.

You Got Jakked Up: Chad Pennington's Storybook, 4 interceptions is certainly the smash of the slipper at midnight.

New York Jets MVP: Nobody, Playoffs!!!

My Picks

My Picks: 2-2
