The team fully feels that Spikes will be ready for training camp and because of that have extended a contract offer to the former Philadelphia Eagles LB. During his recent visit to the Bay, the two sides discussed general ideas on a deal but nothing was set in stone, as Spikes believes he could get a better contract elsewhere.
