Danny Kolb Earns Save

It was a scoreless inning, but he did give up two hits before shutting the Reds down.

"If that's what Ned decides, great. But I'll take the ball knowing it's not my job -- it's (Turnbow's)." Kolb said "Hopefully it will maybe just be a day, I'll get us a win and then he'll be back in the next day."

I couldn't have said it better myself. Don't expect Kolb to hold onto the job for very long, but he is the man of choice at the moment.

Turnbow removed as closer

Looks like a committee may emerge. I havent seen any consensus on the net over who will be the new guy from this unimpressive cast of characters:

Dan Kolb, 5.87 ERA, 1.56 WHIP
Matt Wise, 4.27 ERA, 1.36 WHIP
Brian Shouse - 2.84 ERA, 1.42 WHIP
Jose Capellan. - 4.04 ERA, 1.24 WHIP
