Tyree a Raven

It’s official David Tyree is now a Baltimore Raven. 20 months after making the greatest catch in Superbowl history David Tyree is an afterthought for Big Blue. The receivers are flourishing (with no room to dress another wideout) and their gunners have done an excellent job. While Tyree is gone, he will never be forgotten, [...]

David Tyree will be a Raven

Both Pro Football Talk and the National Football Post are reporting that former New York Giants Super Bowl hero David Tyree will sign today with the Baltimore Ravens.Good for Tyree. We know he still wants to play. Wouldn't it be kind of weird to see Tyree play against the Giants in the Super Bowl?

David Tyree goes to Baltimore

Tyree reportedly agreed to sign with the Ravens this afternoon. Looking back, letting him go for the young talent the Giants currently are overflowing with is now quite understandable. I was sad to see him go but if he plays his cards right around the beltway he just might get back in the playoff atmosphere [...]

Tyree working out for old friend in St. Louis

David Tyree, the ex-Giant and Super Bowl hero, is working out for former Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo in St. Louis today, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Tyree, who was among the final preseason cuts for the Giants, worked out for the Baltimore Ravens last week but the team chose not to sign him. Both his surgically repaired knee and his balky hamstring are apparently healthy, because an NFL source said he passed his physical with the Ravens.

Tyree makes sense...

G-Men making moves

Much to my chagrin, the G-Men cut ties with David Tyree (among others) on Saturday. I get why they did it, but it still hurts. David Tyree, the guy responsible for one of the greatest plays in Giants (let alone Super Bowl) history, will not be a part of the team this year. I know [...]
