Romo and Joe's Meal Ticket

This is the day that Tony Romo realized that it was the beginning of the end. Happy Birthday Tony! Joe Simpson brought the clown. Seriously, would you look at everyone's faces. Tony. Is. Biting. His. Fingernails. Dude behind Jessica is texting Romo as the picture is snapped: "Mo, this was fun while it lasted. I'll go start the car, when you hear me honk twice, run!"

Sure, Nick Lachey's left-overs expedited the process of getting dumped by gushing to US Weekly that Tony was her "future husband" (why do I get the impression this is the first time he heard about this) and that he reintroduced her to herself (sounds crazy).

Anyway, I really hate writing about celebutards and whatnot, but I feel like she is almost forcing me to.

Here's the thing, I believe in second chances, but I really hate infidelity, so my little ruggedly insides go all Singing in the Rain when Jessica Simpson's and Britney Spear's cheating asses fall on hard times. Having said that, I wish Jessica every luck in not falling as far as Britney did. And Let's be honest, we all fully expect to see Matt Leinart and Jessica Simpson hot tub pictures on theDirty.com within the next week or two.

This does have sports world implications too:
Believe it or not Cowboy fans, this was the worst thing that could have happened for you next season. You may not have liked Jessica coming to big D, but she at least gave Romo one woman go home to. Now that he's single and Pacman Jones is in town, there will be late nights. Just like with Tank Johnson supplying the arms, and Roy Williams rippin dudes' collars from behind, There Will be Blood.

No worries, I heard Jerry is planning on signing Team Chemistry to a $30 Mil deal after July 1.

WILLIAMS ON THE OUTS IN DALLAS?

As rumors still circulate regarding the Cowboys' potential interest in Lions receiver Roy Williams, there's a chance that, if they land him via trade, they won't need to add his middle initial to the back of his jersey. The other Roy Williams, the one who plays safety for the Cowboys, could be on the outs in Dallas. During a Thursday appearance on Sirius NFL Radio (via the Dallas Morning News), Cowboys defensive end Greg Ellis said that Williams doesn't fit within the defensive scheme employed by coach Wade Phillips. Ellis claims that Williams first raised his concerns during training camp last season. "He said, 'Greg, this defense does not fit me. I don't fit in well with this defense at all. So when he told me that, I was like, 'Well, man, it's still new. Get used to it and it'll probably be fine for you.' And obviously I think it came to be true. Just like he said, he doesn't fit what's going on here in Dallas right now. "Now maybe this year, if they decide to keep him for this season, Wade and them will kind of adjust some things to fit him better." It's highly unlikely that the Cowboys would simply cut him. After June 1, any trade of Williams could divide the cap acceleration over two seasons, reducing the current year's cap hit but pushing plenty of dead money into 2009.

Giving Back To Community Suits Former OU Football Players To A Tee

Teddy Lehman walked onto the first tee box and aligned the driver perfectly with the ball. He smoothly motioned the club back and then forward, whacking the ball all of about 2 inches.

The second annual Tommie Harris Celebrity Classic didn't exactly woo Tiger Woods to Belmar Golf Club on Saturday.

Still, the weekend's charity event featuring several ex-Sooners now in the NFL reeled in roughly $270,000 for both the Boys & Girls Club of America and the Tommie Harris Foundation, which raises funds to help prevent child abuse.

Lito Sheppard is still an Eagle

Everybody wrote him off. He was supposed to be gone. Did the eagles do the smart thing? Lito is a pro bowl player, much more valuable than a 2nd to 3rd round pick. So are the eagles gonna have the best cornerback tandem in the nfl or do they have something up their sleeve. They can keep sheppard, i heard he is upset with his contract, but i haven't heard that come from his mouth. We suddenly come back from getting no turnovers, and we have two corners who get a ton of them. So that can happen, or the Eagles think a wide receiver may become available. Maybe they believe that ocho stinko, anquan boldin or roy williams will become available. Eagles now have 2 first round picks and a pro bowl cornerback to offer. I think this is a huge win-win for the eagles and sometimes the best move is the one you don't make.

Mort says ocho more likely to be traded than roy or 'quan

chris mortenson of espn just reported that all three teams (arizona, cinci, and detroit) remain adamant about not trading their stud WRs, but that if any of these teams should pull the trigger, it would be cinci bc of the considerable drain chad has become on the coach, the QB, and the organization as a whole. but, it's basically all up in the air. he also went on to say that the eagles, redskins, and cowboys are the interested partners. so, the news is, there is no news. no one has a fcuking clue!! so, everyone chill out already! like mary said, no more drama...

Noone has a clue!!!

I just felt like saying something because I want to say it. Not one person on this site knows what they are talking about and it isn't a bad thing. It is the luxury of sports plain and simple. We have no clue what the Eagles are doing and if we did they wouldn't get half the deals done that they do. Also I like when they hide what is going on because it keeps me/us on our toes. I think the Eagles are going hard after a receiver, but that doesn't mean they will get one or teams are willing to give on up. If they don't get one I think they should go after Jason Taylor now that the dolphins said he is available. But I don't mean trade Lito. I would try and get Taylor with picks and keep Sheppard. The Dolphins are asking for a 1st round pick. This was reported by ESPN by the way. If we could get Taylor (yes I know he is old) and keep lito our defense would be one of the best I have ever seen. With our Picks someone trade up to get Devin Thomas and take a safety and a tackle later on. We are sitting pretty good. Let me just let everyone know though this isn't the best direction the Eagles could go I think. The best would be getting a #1 and with that said I think all the teams are lying out there ass about not trading their receivers. Lions? They have Calvin Johnson - They don't need Roy more then Lito. That is why the suck. Bengals? They don't need Chad Johnson more then Lito they have T.J. - That is why they suck. Cardinals? They don't need Anquan more then Lito they have Fitzgerald - That is why they suck. Can anyone answer me one question? Why wouldn't they trade them? It doesn't make sense to me.... I think they are all lying to get more for them. I believe on draft day that all of a sudden they want to trade them. Also what the hell is wrong with the redskins? Do they go after anything but receivers? They spend so much money on receiver but they are always horrible. All they are doing now is throwing offers at every team. I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT THIS IS ALL MY OPINION!

GCobb.com: Eagles Closing in on Roy Williams

Here we go again. Just when we thought all the talk of the Eagles getting a top flight receiver was dead, GCobb.com has started things up again. Cobb is reporting that Mike Quick, an analyst for Eagles games, believes that there will be news on a new team for Lions receiver Roy Williams by the end of this week. Three NFC East teams are believed to be bidding on the former Pro Bowler: the Eagles, Redskins and Cowboys. Cobb believes this move will happen soon as the Lions are lowering their asking price.
So, what do we make of this latest rumor from GCobb? He has actually been right more times than not this off-season as he correctly called the Eagles signing Asante Samuel and he was one of the first to report on the Eagles interest in Randy Moss. This current story may have some validity since it was reported about a month ago that the Lions might be looking to get rid of Roy Williams.

When your team has a pick in the top 10 of the NFL draft you expect to land a franchise type player. Of course, it doesn't always work out that way, so that got me thinking about the best players of all time selected in the top 10 on the draft.

Here's the list in no particular order...
