My Biggest Sports Pet Peeves!

Look we all have them and to us they're meaningful. That's right I'm talking about pet peeves in sports, things that just fire us up. I'm not sure why they bother me but they do and I have to let it out.

Here's my list of biggest sports pet peeves in no particular order:

Where will Kevin Love and Russell Westbrook go in the NBA Draft?

Alright, next time I hear someone say Russell Westbrook wasn't on any draft boards at the beginning of the season, I'm going to slap them.

NBADraft.net figured out that Russel Westbrook was going to be a badass before everyone else apparently. They projected him to be a first round pick IN AUGUST. That's a few months before the season begins no? NBADraft.net is where I'll start looking at mock drafts, thank you very much.

Here are the projections from NBADraft.net, DraftExpress.com, and NBAMock.com

NO LOVE, FOR KEVIN LOVE

Absolutely foolish, that is what I call UCLA center Kevin Love's decision to go pro. My first question is this, who is assisting him in his decision making and when did Pacman Jones fire that person?

UCLA loses Love game: Frosh Kevin Love declares for NBA

UCLA's Kevin Love will leave Westwood after 1 season after he has made himself eligible for the NBA Draft. He has yet to sign with an agent, making it a slight possibility that the 6"10' center could return, but you have to believe that with the cautious decision he made he's ready to leave for the pro game. Somewhat of a surprise however, is that sophomore teammate Russell Westbrook will leave for the NBA as well, after just gaining the starting job midway through the season. Westbrook was arguably their best player in that Final Four loss to Memphis, but I still think it's a bit too early for him to leave UCLA. What are your thoughts?

NBA Draft: Giving the NBA Their Love

By now everyone in the country knows that UCLA's super freshman Kevin Love and junior Darren Collison are reportedly going pro.

While that makes sense from a business stand point, millions of dollars and no school work...hey where do I sign...

What are you thinking Kevin Love?

Here's one thing I don't understand. Why are kids so quick to pull the trigger and enter the NBA Draft? Sure I can understand why Oden, and Durrant left early, but Kevin Love? Kevin Love has an ability to score, shoot the three and play inside, but that was in college. Memphis did what every NBA team will do to Love next season, and that's shut him down. Kevin Love is not big enough to play center in the NBA, and he's certainly not quick enough to play the four and guard guys like KG...To top that off Kevin Love still has 65 percent of his baby fat still on his body. I'll agree with the common UCLA fan. Kevin Love's got a pretty nice game. He doesn't have much to work on there. However, he could use another year or so to get in better shape so he can guard quicker fours in the NBA. Big mistake Kevin.

Mario Chalmers forces overtime with a spectacular shot that will surely be remembered in title game history, and in doing so helps Kansas and Bill Self finally win it all. But does that make Kansas a historic team?
