      <title>Browns player arrested in Texas</title>
      <description>AND here we go again, another one bites the dust.......wtf is up with these guys??

Cleveland Browns cornerback Kenny Wright was arrested on Thursday after an altercation with police.

At approximately 11:33 a.m., officers were investigating a disturbance in a parking lot of the Pearland Police Department, according to a press release. 

A suspect involved in the disturbance fled when police arrived, leading officers on a chase. The suspect, later identified as Kenneth Dewayne Wright, of Pearland, was caught a shortly after in a nearby subdivision.

Wright, 30, is being charged with Unlawful Restraint, Evading Arrest Fleeing and Possession of Marijuana.

He had 1.875 ounces of marijuana in his vehicle, according to the press release.

If found guilty, Wright faces punishment of up to one year in jail and a fine of up to $4,000 on the Unlawful Restraint and confinement in jail up to 180 days and a $2,000 fine on each of the other two charges.

He is currently being held at the Pearland Police Department.

Bond has not yet been set. He has a hearing on Friday morning where a judge will set bond.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Wright signed a three-year contract with the Browns before the 2007 season. He had six tackles in limited action as a backup cornerback in 2007.

The Browns are Wright's fifth team in his nine-year career, which started with Minnesota in 1999 after he went undrafted out of Northwestern State. He's also played for Houston, Jacksonville and Washington.</description>
