This is going to be a good game. On paper, the Green Bay Packers seem to be the better team, but it's not a huge advantage. The Packers are favored by 3, but it's probably a pick if this were played on a neutral site. Every play is going to count, and any missed opportunity might be the reason someone loses.
The official team rankings (based on yardage) from NFL.com:

Finesse turning tougher

Let's be honest: The reputation of the Green Bay Packers outside of Wisconsin - rightly or wrongly - is that they are a finesse team.

They run a slick West Coast offense. Their offensive line has been pushed around easily. Running back Ryan Grant can't break a tackle. Receiver Greg Jennings complains any time somebody breathes on him.

Packers' Ball Security To Be Tested By Ravens

There's been no team protecting the football better in the NFL this year than the Green Bay Packers, who have a league-low 10 turnovers through 11 games.

Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens aren't where they've been statistically in takeaways in 2009, ranking in the middle of the pack with 17. But anyone who faces the Ravens is well aware that their defense led the NFL in turnovers a year ago, and they thrive on making those game-changing plays.

Turnovers play an important role in a...

Practice report Thursday

The Green Bay Packers look healthy with the extra time off after playing on Thanksgiving Day last week.Aside from outside linebacker Aaron Kampman, who's still on the roster but out for the season because of a torn ACL, two other players did little or nothing in practice Thursday: cornerback Charles Woodson and left tackle Chad Clifton, though both look like sure bets to play this week.Woodson has been missing some practice time early each week in recent weeks because of a hip injury but ...

Practice notes: Grant, Woodson sit

The Packers returned to practice today for the first time since their Thanksgiving victory at Detroit. The only two players who did not appear to be doing anything were running back Ryan Grant and cornerback Charles Woodson. Neither player is believed to have a serious injury. Grant had a stinger in the previous game against San Francisco, and Woodson has battled a hip injury on and off throughout the season. So both were probably held out as precautions.Left tackle Chad Clifton, who left the ...

Why Ryan Grant Isn't The Answer

Ryan Grant is an enigma of sorts. He is a starting running back in the NFL, yet he is widely regarded as a player with above-average skills at best. He is good at many things, but great at nothing. Even his Scouts Inc. profile from ESPN.com shows how he is simultaneously impressive and limited.

He doesn't have outstanding speed but runs well and has quickness and burst to hit the hole...He has good power to move the pile, but wouldn't be considered an ex...

In his 2nd career start for the Green Bay Packers, back in 2007, RB Ryan Grant carried the ball 25 times against the Minnesota Vikings, as the Packers won 34-0 in Green Bay. Since then, he's started 3 more games against the Vikings and carried the ball 12 times, 16 times, and 11 times. He's never had a yards/carry average below 4.6 against them, but it's cl...
