Pecherov drops 24 of the Celtics

Drafted ahead of the likes of Paul Milsap, Rajon Rando, and Jordan Farmar, Olesky Pecherov was never viewed as anything more than a dissapointment to Wizards fans during his tenure. After being drafted in 2006, Pecherov sat out the entire year and instead played a final season in Europe playing for, no joke, Paris Basket Racing. Pecherov then suffered two miserable seasons in Washington. The Ukrainian struggled to do a lot of things, most important of those things, get off the ben...

Coach Ben Howland: "Honored" Guest At Lakers' Practice

Coach Ben Howland: "Honored" Guest At Lakers' Practice
From the Daily News:

Honored guests

UCLA coach Ben Howland and assistant Donny Daniels watched some of the Lakers' practice. Howland then met with former Bruins guard Jordan Farmar for a few minutes after the Lakers completed their workout.

Always great to see when two of my sports world converge in the same place. Now only if MJD can somehow end up with the Niners ...

GO BRUINS.

Farmar unhappy with backup role with Lakers

There is no guarantee in sports that you'll win a championship, but the drama that follows after winning it all is as definite as death and taxes.Los Angeles Lakers backup PG Jordan Farmar averaged 6.4 points a game last season and saw his minutes drop from 20mpg to 18mpg with the late season acquisition of guard Shannon Brown, so in typical pampered, young athlete fashion he began to complain, despite the success of his team.During a basketball clinic in Singapore Farmar had a lot to ...

Lakers guard Farmar: I want to start

Los Angeles Lakers reserve point guard Jordan Farmar wants be a starter, either with the Lakers or another NBA team.

"I want to run a team and be the lead guard," Farmar said Tuesday on the sidelines of a basketball clinic in Singapore. "Hopefully, it can be here (with the Lakers)."

"There's a lot of jobs out there. I feel I have a lot to offer."

The 22-year-old Farmar averaged 6.4 points and 2.4 assists in 65 regular-season games last season as the ...

One of the advantages to being an athlete while you?re in high school, college, or on the professional ranks is the treatment you get from women.?
The Zen Master Needs To Do It Again

By Tuesday night, Farmar seemed disgruntled, the telling sign coming when Jackson yanked him out of the game against New York 4:01 into the fourth quarter and the 6-foot-2 guard stormed off the court and exchanged words with his coach.
Read more about this disfunctional relationship and tell us if you feel this will threaten the Lakers Championship hopes at InGameNow.
