Game Preview #12: Milwaukee Bucks at San Antonio Spurs

Not bad, guys, not bad. Yes, it was the Wizards, and yes, it was at home, but that W counts just as much toward the standings as the W we earn on the road against a championship contender (don't worry, we'll get one someday). Now we just need to amass a few more, starting with a win against the Milwaukee Brandons.
Yeah, remember how excited you all were when you traded for me? How 'bout now? I'm getting there, right?

Behind the Box Score, where the Hawks are rolling

Atlanta 99, Portland
95 (OT)
There were a fair chunk of screwups, this was no classic,
but two of the best teams in the NBA came through with a solid enough showing
in this Hawk win.
Portland
could have had this. Atlanta's defense broke down quite a few times, allowing
all manner of Trail Blazers open looks that they just couldn't connect on. Toss
in 17 turnovers — not particularly egregious, but more than you'd like in a
95-possession game — and you get the difference...

Dan Gadzuric, No. 50

It seems like only yesterday that center Dan Gadzuric joined the Bucks as a second-round draft choice out of UCLA.

Well, not really.

Actually, Gadzuric is entering his eighth season in the NBA - all with the Bucks - and the only player who has been with the team longer is guard Michael Redd, who has played all nine years in Milwaukee.

SoCal Sports Hub compiled a great list of the 100 different types of UCLA fans and why they suck. Here are a few of my favorites:

99 - The guy who wears baby blue and gold crocs

97 - The guy who spends more time talking about USC than he does about his own favorite team

95 - The guy who owns a second home in Las Vegas in order to have somewhere to stay during the Bruins’ annual trip to the Las Vegas Bowl

72 - The guy who named his kid Troy in 1990...
