Andre Iguodala’s Massive Dunk Over Courtney Lee

Andre Iguodala is all over the web this weekend, first with a trick shot during practice and now this video, in which he channels his inner Dominique in order to make Courtney Lee feel even worse about playing for the Nets.

And while I have your attention, Richard Jefferson’s dunk over Greg Oden last night wasn’t [...]

Andre Iguodala is a Bad, Bad Man

Boom. And the injury-plagued Nets remain the league’s only winless team. The final two NBA unbeatens fell - Boston at home to Phoenix (!) and Denver in Miami. And LeBron beat the Knicks … and then listened intently as his friend, CC Sabathia, tried to woo him to NYC. Go ahead and get pissy, denizens [...]

Based on my experience with trick shot videos, I know that this clip of 76ers forward Andre Iguodala(notes) swishing a ball off the practice gym wall will elicit five types of comments: 1) "Sick shot!" 2) "Fake!" 3) "That's not that hard to do if you try it enough times." 4) "Who cares?
Thank God Losses Never Count for Two: Sixers Drop Bout With Celtics in Convincing Fashion

In my preview for last night's game (in which I erroneously stated that the game would be in Boston--just had to get that tired Dropkick Murphys reference in there I guess), I mentioned that it would be "interesting to see how the Sixers' offense, hot off a
scorching-hot performance in New York, responds to the lockdown D of
the Green and White." Well, "interesting" was one word for it, but I think "horrifying," "depressing" and &qu...

Sixers '09-'10 Season Preview: Reasons to Be (Cautiously) Optimistic

Finally, today is the day that we've all been waiting for, the one we've watched and offered endless prognostication for, the one that will keep us up late at nights and be the topic of every office / dorm room conversation. That's right--it's the night of the 76ers season opener! Yeah, all right, so that other team is still technically playing somewhere in New York, but c'mon, nobody cares about those guys, they never win anything. The Sixers, as we all know, is where th...

We're not sure exactly what the purpose was of the NBA stars appearing on the former Oprah sidekicks television program? Perhaps David Stern is targeting that stay-at-home mom demographic? The show is set to air this Friday at 5:00 PM on CBS.

Iguodala Informatizing: Rounding Up AI9's Busy Vegas Vacation

Next season is going to be an important one for Mr. Andre Iguodala, as he attempts to guide a team in transition (in more ways than one) through what could be a difficult stretch, leading for the first time without his primary running partner, the recently departed Andre Miller. One can not accuse Iguodala of off-season laziness, however, as he has been seemingly unable to stop mixing it up, on and off the court--auditioning, tweeting, dunking and just generally staying in the picture. ...

From walking the red carpet in L.A., helping spread the gospel of hoops in China, to hanging out in Las Vegas to film the latest Nike Hyperdunk campaign. He's also participating alongside teammate Thaddeus Young in the USA Basketball Men’s National Team mini-camp that kicked off on Wednesday in Vegas as well. While representing your country is all well and good, playing a pimped-out-gold-chain-wearing-froha...

If you've been following Andre Iguodala's adventures in China via his Twitter feed, you already know the Sixers star has been promoting the NBA this summer in one of the most NBA-crazy countries. My old pal and video blogging supper star Elie Seckbach caught up with Iguodala before he set off for Beijing. Andre thinks a trip to the All-Star Game is in his future and says his current hairdo is not an attempt to look like the Wayans brothers. [video below]

New York

I'm in the airport in NY right now...thought I would drop yall a few lines. I haven't been doing much lately-just working out really. I came to New York last night to do this appearance at the NBA 2K9 launch. It was good. Me and KG played against each other, and I won. But, I ended up losing in the finals to Andre Iguodala. O...I met Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world, and I told him I could beat him. After the launch, I went to dinner with my publicist. We ended up eating at STK, and we killed it.

I'm on my way back to Boston. Training camp starts next week. I'm excited to get the season under way. I feel like I've been waiting for the season to start for a long time now. I'm just ready to start playing again. I will give yall updates next week during training camp, but for now, I'll holla!
