Not much news, lots of talk about defense. Perhaps the most interesting thing I saw in my scan of media day reactions is that Jerome James is alive, and wants to play basketball. A recent report from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports suggests that the Bulls are looking at trading their 16th and 26th picks to the New Jersey Nets for the 11th pick in this year's draft. I'm not sure if that's the best idea, since they could probably get two serviceable picks with what they have now. The 11th pick could get them a better player, but I doubt whoever they would get would end up being a significant improvement over the combined package of the 16th and 26th pick...

Over the past 7 years, the New York Knicks have been a model for futility and bad management. From horrible trades and overpriced free agents, to the occasional foreign center who got a facial from Vince Carter is scared of the United States, the Knicks have gone from being THE most feared team in the NBA to a perennial laughing stock. Nobody on the current Knicks roster exemplifies our inability to make good decisions than the one and only Jerome “Two Games” James.

Heres a list of my top 25 bums in the NBA....after the first three it was randomized....Ratings based on how pathetic they are and believe me they are pathetic...This list is thankful to the gr8 efforts made by Jerome James on the court and Jason Collins as well.. Sadly enough both dont have much of a presence in the game anyway, for Jerome he hasnt been on the court since the first Bush was in Office...ANd Collins well hes just a waste of space on the court. Reason I did this article, is I see so many good players out in the streets, especially bigmen who are far better than what the NBA has put out with these lethargic and desireless centers who spend more time on the injured list and in the clubs than actually playing....This goes onto an argument I had prior on some article why its embarrasing athletes get paid more than some other professions like doctors what not...But thats just my opinion.... Too lazy to explain all but as time goes on I will...Enjoy

Jerome James is making more than a million bucks/minute this season. Don't ask us why we chose today to wallow in this miserable realization, just think about it. In all honesty, we were pondering compiling a definitive list of all those around the league collecting obscene paychecks for showing up in a suit and sitting on the bench. Being Knicks fans, Jerome was the first one that came to mind...and we simply couldn't get beyond the numbers...
