The Girls and Fans of the Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party

Last Saturday was the annual World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party which also happened to be the biggest day that everyone goes out for Halloween. I often hear talk about how the girls of the SEC are amazing (especially Mississippi State) and how this Florida/Georgia game is a killer party. Because of this I had high expectations for what sort of fans and random people I was going to find. I previously did this for the Red River Rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas and even though the girls were about as hot as Brian Scalabrine from downtown the fans in the stands more than made up for it. Thankfully this Florida/Georgia contest ended up being a close game with tons of drama so there were plenty for me to work with.

The first shot of the telecast and Florida goes hard in the motha f’n paint. It took watching the entire Oklahoma/Texas game before they showed any girls of this calibre. Great start.

I thought that stuff like this only happened in the valley in LA. Who knew this was al...

Bulls Waive Jaric, Is This the End of the Adriana Lima NBA Era?

Potentially TERRIBLE news in the NBA came out on Wednesday: the Chicago Bulls waived backup guard Marko Jaric. This news isn't in itself bad, he's a pretty mediocre basketball player, but because of the lasting ramifications.

If Jaric is unable to hook on with another NBA team then that means his wife, the lust-inducing super model Adriana Lima will have no reason to sit courtside at games. What if, god forbid, Jaric signs with a EUROPEAN team and we see the job of Hottest NBA Wife exported across the ocean?

This is EXACTLY the type of thing you can expect in Mitt Romney's America. I can only hope that President Obama, a Bulls fan himself, understands exactly how dire the consequences of losing Ms. Lima would be and steps in immediately.

If need be, for the good of America, I'll marry Ms. Lima instead in order to keep her safe in the US of A.

Minnesota Timberwolves “luck” might be turning around?

I know the last few years have been down-right dreadful for fans of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Our last few draft picks (Wes Johnson and Derrick Williams) haven’t panned-out, so far or yet. But, Ricky Rubio brought a spark this season before his ACL injury. He lit-up Target Center with his maestro passing skills and non-matador-esque defensive ability that most of his teammates (Michael Beasley) have shown the past few years. He might just be the beginning of a Minnesota-turnaround, though.

The Timberwolves made a dreadful trade a few years ago when they traded Sam Cassell and a future first-round pick in exchange for Los Angeles Clippers guard Marko Jaric. That draft pick is now with the New Orleans Hornets and the pick has to be used this season. And the nice thing is, the Timberwolves weren’t that bad this season! They are going to finish with the 10th-worst record in the NBA when most people thought the Wolves would be one of the worst teams in the league. New Orleans will al...

Selling on eBay: Damon Jones Game worn Jersey

I’m starting something new where I search eBay and see what kind of wonderful sports goodness I can find being sold there. Up first is this highly coveted Damon Jones game worn Minnesota Timberwolves jersey from back in 2005-06. What makes this jersey so special is that Damon Jones (or Amon Ones as many of you know him by…No D No J) never played for the Minnesota Timberwolves nor was there ever a number 11 on the team that year. That sure makes the “game worn” part of this item kinda tough to believe. The only player on the team with a J in his last name was Marko Jaric (who out kicked his coverage by about 10 football fields and has an incredibly hot wife). Logically I’m sure someone out there is dying to spend over 200 bones for a jersey of a crappy player that was never on the team.

Here’s the link if you want to check it out.

Noah Graham/NBAE via Getty ImagesThe Sam Cassell-for-Marko Jaric trade in 2005 set into a motion a series of bizarre and historic events.Almost seven years ago, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Clippers swung a trade on a sleepy August day.The Clippers sent combo guard Marko Jaric and Lionel Chalmers to Minnesota in exchange for 35-year-old point guard Sam Cassell and a Timberwolves first-round draft pick that was lottery protected for the next six years.

Adriana Lima’s Boxing Workout

We’re a little conflicted about super-hot supermodel Adriana Lima. On one hand, there’s the hot thing. We bet she probably looks good naked. These are good things.
On the other hand, she’s married to former NBA scrub Marko Jaric, so she obviously doesn’t have very good taste or sense.
We’ll ignore that for the time being though and ogle he delicious body for a bit.
Adriana had herself a little boxing workout in Miami yesterday with trainer Dino Spencer. It looks like things are progressing well. The body looks fit and toned and Adriana seems to have a few moves in the ring.
On the downside, at least for Marko, we’re pretty sure she’s having an affair with Spencer. He’s a well-groomed, athletic ass-kicker, which is pretty much the opposite of what Jaric is. He’s also walking Lima to her car and having a few laughs with her, so there’s obviously chemistry.
We hate to speculate, though. Let’s just get to the goods!
